I can’t stay off this thing! Love it, Love it!
I’ve never been athletic, plus exercise must be minimally fun for me to stay with it. I wanted something to keep near my ‘work station’ in my home office, and that would allow ‘no excuses’ as far as weather, time of day, etc.. I had gotten out of shape and wanted something low impact (old knee, back and neck injuries) but effective enough to get me back to a decent level of fitness. The Sunny Air Walk Trainer is exactly what I was looking for.Took me about 10 minutes to assemble, was easy to do, machine seems very well constructed and sturdy. So far, I find it doesn’t make any noise and operates smoothly.Note if you are short: I am just under 5 feet tall… I temporarily put the ‘abdominal pad’ in place, and got on the Trainer. The pad, at its lowest setting, hit my upper chest! Needless to say, I left the pad off. Seems like I would have had less freedom of movement with it on anyway, and I don’t feel at all unstable without it.I work at home and have the Air Walk Trainer set up in my office. I do 12 minutes while watching a video on the computer while I’m exercising. I plan on working up to 20 minutes a day.Being 55 and sitting way too much for work, I started having a timer on my computer go off every 11 minutes whereupon I stand up and move around for a minute. This habit has made a big difference in how my joints and muscles feel at the end of the day. But now, my minute of ‘moving around’ is jumping back on the Air Walk Trainer for a minute (I use the timer on the computer that comes with the Trainer, which btw, seems to work fine). Sometimes I’ll do 2-3 minutes… I find I just want to keep going. Doing this 5 times per hour, I get in quite a few more minutes of exercise by the end of the work day.For the money, this is a pretty awesome little machine that takes up very little space and does the job for someone my age (55), weight (115) and fitness level (medium low but now going up!). Some years back I had a Gazelle Elite which was okay… but it took up 2-3 times the space, the stride was too long for me, and the pedals were too far apart, causing hip pain. The Sunny Air Walk Trainer is just the right size for me.I love this thing! I had been walking outside but I definitely get a much better ‘burn’ and workout with the Air Walk Trainer. I’m convinced it’s worth every penny and more, and that it give me a routine I can stick with on a daily basis!

It not perfect but
I have been using home ellipticals for the past 20 years (or more). They always break so you better get warranty protection. However the last one I got broke within 90 days and was always breaking. The guy came out so much that he begged the corp to give my money back and they did. I lost about 2 years of my 2nd daily work out and had broken a 2 a day workout regime that I had going for over 20 years.So, this time I went with a slider/elip that was so inexpensive, that if it breaks after a year, I’ll get another. The set up was easy until I got to one part where you have to match up the machine legs to the body. The holes did not align. I was tempted to get out a drill and expand the hole, but they would almost assuredly cause me refund problems. So, with a little bit of muscle and a rubber hammer I knocked that pin into place. Shame on you guy for poor quality control.The slider is far quieter than a regular elliptical, but its a slider.The range of motion was a big, big disappointment. You can’t get those wide slides of a regular ellip, but the slide you do get is enough for a home workout.Strangely because the machine is so light, you have to maintain a kind of balance. It’s nothing a normal elliptical user can’t handle, and I actually like the extra attention I have to pay to balance. It really does make up for the short slide.It’s an alright machine. It’s cheap and gets the job done. And maybe when this one breaks down, I will up grade to a better slider. but for now, I am working to get back to my 2 a day work outs.

I’m really impressed with this. It was really easy to assemble as most of it was already done. You do have to look for the clock in the packaging and I could have easily missed it, but I love it. I’m 5’3″ and needed something low impact and also to get back into exercise. I am not that good at keeping anything up. I’ve only used this for a week but I think it’s great to do a longer session or short sessions. It’s really quiet too, which is lovely. The one thing I would say is that I am a size 5 and my feet fit comfortably on the pedals but I think if you are bigger than a size 6 your feet would be over the pedals at the back. I’m not sure if that’s a problem or not. I don’t find the stride limiting for me. It is not like the other more expensive ones in that it is a bit risky pushing both feet forward at the same time. It will lift off the floor. I don’t mind that it has no resistance levels as I believe you can make this an easy workout or hard depending on your pace and stride. Whether it helps me to lose weight remains to be seen. I am doing 2,000 steps/slides on it a day. I do get a bit hot (not excessive) but I think you would need to do a lot more to get up a sweat. Some people have said they find it repetitive and boring but I don’t, it’s no worse than a treadmill or rowing machine. I think I must like repetitive. Just put music on and slide to the beat. For the price it is worth it.
