The BEST DBT cards out there!!
I’ve tried all the DBT cards on Amazon, and these are by FAR my favorite. I highly highly recommend them! They’re written/organized so well that I could see them being helpful for people of all ages and levels of experience with DBT. I love them as someone in remission from BPD who’s already familiar with DBT skills and concepts, but they’re so straightforward and user friendly that I’m buying another deck for my young nephew with ASD. I’d get them for a lot of people in my life if I thought they’d actually be open to using them!DBT skills are helpful for anyone looking to improve emotion regulation, build healthier relationships, and manage stress, and these cards are such a simple and effective way to learn and practice those skills. The little booklet it comes with is super helpful as well, and the deck is very aesthetically pleasing, which is a nice little bonus. The other decks I have got damaged easily and it’s hard to get the cards back in, but these come in a sturdy box. I really couldn’t recommend them more.

Valuable DBT Resource
I took a DBT course through a hospital outpatient program several years ago. My daughter recently went through the program as well for severe anxiety, depression and SI. I bought these cards for her as she has autism and some learning disabilities. I felt like these cards are more accessible and easier to follow sometimes than the DBT book. Plenty of cards to choose from. They are numbered and put in sections according to the four DBT skill areas. Many cards will cross reference another card number, which is helpful. The color of the cards is soothing. They come with a small booklet and in a sturdy box. They have helped my daughter with coping, interpersonal skills and assisted her with mindfulness. We pull a card out at random once a day and work on that skill for the day. Would recommend as it has helped us both so much. These cards would be beneficial for personal use or a therapy practice that uses DBT.

Nice cards
Nice set of cards! These are nice to look at, and they simplify DBT. the set comes with a short booklet to explain a few things. The cards provide short explanations with ideas for how to put each skill into practice. Marsha Linehan’s workbook is in depth, and create more of a conversation, and give bit more guidance. I think the cards are enough for a quick intro or reminder. The card format is less intimidating to work with than the book. Sometimes a card will suggest other related skills. It’s easy to gather a handful to support you in a particular situation. They are color coded by category and numbered. they are in simple pastel colors with a gradient and some curvy lines to give them some style. Soothing to look at.

Great coping cards that can be used by all!
These DBT coping cards are an incredible resource, both for clinicians and individuals looking for an easy way to expand their coping skill repertoire. The cards are very user friendly and can be used by anyone, regardless of how familiar you are with DBT.The quality of the cards is great – they’re sturdy and visually stunning. I love how they’re separated into different categories (e.g. mindfulness, distress tolerance, etc) and color-coded for easy use. Highly highly recommend!

Good product
These are a great resource to have as a PMHNP in clinic. I don’t specialize in therapy, but sometimes I really need to help people while they wait for their therapist to actually have an intake availability. I live in a rural area and it’s hard to refer to quality therapists. The tools these cards help put into practice are great. I find it good to use with the M Linehan DBT skills workbook. The cards are somewhat difficult to navigate/organize because one card sends you to another half way through the deck and then that one references 3 others and before you know it you have a hand full of cards like you’re playing poker. But overall, good idea, easy to use.

An Amazing Resource for Clients and Therapists
I just got my DBT cards and I have to say that I love them so much! As a therapist who has practiced DBT in the past with clients, I honestly haven’t loved all of the DBT written materials (although Dr. Fehling’s DBT book is great). These cards, on the other hand, are so user friendly and well-written (and so is the booklet that accompanies them, which very clearly and concisely describes the elements of DBT).I love how flexible these cards are. If there are certain skills that are helpful for you, you can take those cards out and remind yourself to practice them (or put them in a distress tolerance kit to use when needed). You can also play a little bit of a game with yourself (or with your clients) by taking out a skill and challenging yourself to practice it sometime in the next week.If you are a DBT client, a former DBT client, or a DBT practitioner, order these cards ASAP! This would also make a great gift for someone who is in DBT.

Concise and Comprehensive
I was looking and looking for a card deck that would help me memorize the skills, and every one I found just gave examples of like exercises for mindfulness like “take a 10 minute walk”. Not really what I needed. But this is exactly what I need. Lays out the skills in a concise but comprehensive manner, so I can memorize them but also understand them at the same time.
