Physical Therapy for Cerebral Palsy
My four-year-old daughter is in physical therapy for cerebral palsy. Her physical therapist uses the BOSU ball in her therapy sessions, and my daughter loves it. It is great for developing her balance and for stretching the muscles in her foot and heel. My daughter loved it so much we bought one for her to use at home (with her physical therapist’s approval). She uses it for her physical therapy “homework”. It came assembled; we just used the included pump to inflate it, which was easy and fast. It was so easy that we overinflated it at first – instructions say it should be inflated to 8 inches tall with the dome side up or 6 1/2 inches with the dome side down. It is easy to carry or slide across our tile floor (there aren’t grips on the bottom so we need to get a mat to put it on). For safety, it is only for use standing on the ball part. The quality is great – super thick, sturdy construction and materials. We love it!!

great for physical therapy
I broke the same ankle twice last year. During my second round of physical therapy, I purchased this item to help me do PT at home. I was using the ball at my PT sessions. 7 months after the second break, I still use this BOSU ball every day. As you age, you have to work on balance and building up muscle. THis ball is great for that. You can also work your upper body and arms with the BOSU ball. I LOVE this BOSU ball.

The item is great, but both items I received appeared opened. One of the pump was broken and the other missing the user manual .These appear to be open/used returns. Not OK.

Very durable but not the exact ones used in my Pilates class. This one is smaller but still effective

Durable and Versatile
It is exactly as described. It is durable and is the right size so that both my son who is five and myself can use it easily. I have had it a few weeks and it has retained the air and it was easy to inflate. I like that it was a little less money than the larger ones, but still can be used in a similar way.

Perfect except for pump damaged in transit
Update: I emailed Bosu and they promptly sent me a new pump! Review changed to 5 stars… Original: Other than a pump part cracked in transit (no protection), this Bosu is the perfect size for me to use in my home for balance and strengthening. Continuing to use the Bosu following my PT discharge where they have ne using the full suze version. I reached out to the company to see if I can get a new pump part, so their response may prompt an updated review.

Love my new BOSU for PT
The BOSU arrived promptly & I was able to quickly fill it & begin using it for my PT exercises. I am working on improving my balance & the ball offers many exercises for that.

I’m 5’2″, petite build, narrow shouldersThe 50 cm model is EXACTLY what my workout needed! I’ve long used the original Bosu at the gym but found them cumbersome for exercises with the Bosu in my hands. The 50 cm smaller size helps me achieve better form, is easier to maneuver, and I even love the blue / lime colour combo! All the same materials, high quality, and function of the original. Easy set up – was using it within 5 min of opening the box. Highly recommend!

I love Bosu products. Just received my new Bosu, pumping it up and hoping there are no leaks etc and that it stays pumped. I had my last Bosu for more than 10 years so I’m hoping this is another 10 years and longer for this particular product. Of course I can purchase more Bosu products as I have over the years.
