Discs are great for improving balance. I have been using them for physical therapy. The pump is kind of wimpy but I borrowed a pump and got them filled faster that way.

Working on ankle mobility and balance
I am using these to improve ankle mobility and balance. I use both sides — one is smooth and one is spiky. I also use them on the smooth side as supports in sitting postures when sitting on the ground. Seem durable so far.

To be clear I’m not using these for their intended purpose. I actually have them under the 4 “feet” of my indoor cycling trainer to give it some rocking motion when riding rather than the uncomfortable and fatiguing effect of it being in a completely static position. I attached 4″ metal “coasters” on the top of each balance bag to prevent the trainer feet from potentially tearing or puncturing the bags and it works perfectly using a some really strong 2-sided tape to hold them in place. The balance bags inflate easily and hold air very well over days and even weeks, plus they can be individually adjusted to level the bike & trainer in all directions.
