    Loving these cards
    I am loving this purchase. The cards are thick enough not to be easily bent and have a coating on them to protect and make them wipeable in case you share them with others. The exercises are broken down into 3 categories, Calm, Vitality and Connection. The instructions printed on them are easy to understand and easy to follow. I am enjoying this set very much as I can enhance my self-care practice with adding these exercises into my daily routine. I would highly recommend these to anyone wanting to get their stress under control and incorporate some very useful techniques to do so.

    This is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. The creator of this Melissa Romano has certainly placed a lot of thought and creativity in this product. As a creative myself, I do see the quality of her work. The color coded cards are beautiful. This card pack delivers more than I had expected and the price was great as well. I wish there were more demonstrations on some of the cards and I realize spacing might have been an issue but there are demonstrations on many of the cards however and it was easy to read so no worries at all. Otherwise, this was one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time for self-care and it Delivered!!! I just tried some of the techniques and the “proof is in the pudding”. I feel very relaxed. I purchased to supplement a health issue and I believe it is going to be a great addition to my lifestyle change and healing results. Its easy enough to pull a few cards and begin working on yourself. This delivered overtime for me!! Thank you.

    Clear descriptions, well-made and enough variety you aren’t “bored”
    After searching for a long time, I found this deck instead of other “affirmations” or DBT skills cards. I think the three-colors for the different focus areas are fantastic, and make it easy to grab what I need in that moment. Or to challenge myself— if you’ve been living in fight-or-flight mode and your adrenals are all wacky, I highly recommend trying this deck! I know it’s helped me regulate when *gestures vaguely* everything is chaotic.

    Great Without the Polyvagal Theory Nonsense
    The Polyvagal Theory is pseudoscience that has been disproven. I was disappointed to see it mentioned in this deck. That doesn’t mean the deck isn’t useful as vagus nerve stimulation has been proven to be effective for relaxing the nervous system. I wish therapists would stop promoting Polyvagal Theory as it makes them seem woo woo and they can get the same point across without it. This deck has some wonderful suggestions for vagus nerve stimulation but it would have been better if the instructions for each card were more in depth. Like gargling. The card should instruct to take a deep breath first then slowly breathe out as the person gargles to allow them to actually reach 30 seconds each time. Instead, it just says gargle the water. I was also surprised ear massage wasn’t included. Overall, the cards are high quality and a nice reminder of exercises for a nervous system reset.

    A great product to supplement health treatment with knowledge
    As a retired registered nurse, I believe in education for someone who is in need of health care. This set of cards is really well designed. The information on them is easy to read. I choose two cards every week for my husband and then I hope that he will take these exercises seriously and do them more often. The container is very sturdy. I was invited to speak at our stroke group in our 55+ community and I brought these cards to show to the members. The professional nurse who is still clinically active also exclaimed what a great product this is. I highly recommend it.
