It’s very big for a petite woman – Good quality
I’m a petite woman 5 feet 100lbs and this is pretty big on me even at the tightest settings, I was debating between this vest and another one. I picked this one because it came with a lot of extras and it was a little less expensive. Good quality material, great extras, good packaging. I thought about buying the other vest hoping it would be smaller but this vest is too heavy for me to return to the store, I can’t carry it in. Lol

Better for men?
I have mixed reviews on this vest but it’s more due to my misunderstanding.The vest is a great quality and I love you can remove/add weightsBut I am only 130 lbs and it is extremely bulky on me. I have to wear a hoodie and pull the straps beyond tight for it to “fit”I definitely feel like this is better fitted for a male figure.

Comfortable weighted vest has wide array of options for using weights while exercising!
Inside the cardboard box was the weighted vest, stored inside a zipper-locked bag. In opening the vest, all ten of the ironsand bags were tucked into its various pouches. On the front, there are four pouches on the upper chest and six pouches on the lower chest.On the back, there are two rows of five pounces, one on the upper and one on the lower back. All the pouches have large flaps that Velcro shut to keep the bags of ironsand in place.The ten pouches are filled with ironsand, which is sand with a high concentration of iron ore in it. It feels heavier than your average bag of sand and it makes a difference when exercising. Each pouch is 2.2 pounds, which makes a difference the more bags you use during your workout.It can be a little challenging to push the ironsand bags into their pouches but with some squeezing, it successfully fits.After putting on the vest by pulling it over my arms, I then buckled the three straps into place. There are three straps over the upper, middle, and lower back. Each one buckles together and is adjustable to whatever level of tightness or looseness that you want.According to the product description, there are four layers of fabric that are moisture-wicking, keep you dry, and are breathable. I always wear a shirt with the weighted vest over it, so I feel comfortable when using it, though my workout does produce extra sweat because of the increased workout I get as I wear it.You can customize how many bags you use and where you want to place them when you’re working out. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now while I’m walking, and it has definitely added intensity to that activity. I sweat a lot more than I used to while using it.You can also wear it around the house for different activities, walking on a treadmill, or for working out at the gym. It’ll build the extra work into whatever routine you are engaging in.As a bonus, they also include a nice gift: a pouch that wraps around your arm with a Velcro strap for holding your phone or other miscellaneous items.Overall, this is a well-made and comfortable weighted vest that successfully increases the intensity of my walks as well as other exercises.

There’s a lot to like!
I’ve been using the BeatBoost Weighted Vest for about 3 weeks now and it has really benefitted my workouts! I’ve found a lot of things I really like:First, I like the fact that you can adjust the weight in 1kg increments anywhere from 1 to 20kg. That makes it easy to start out slowly, with 10% to 15% of your bodyweight, and increase the load gradually. Having the pockets on the front and back also allows you to balance the load.Wearing this vest during my daily walks turns them into more of a workout. I can really feel the burn from the sprints I work in, too. It also adds a lot to the occasional breaks for pushups, pullups and squats.The construction of the vest is also really good:➕ The material is solid. The outside seems to be the same heavy duty nylon I’ve seen in my better backpacks. It’s strong and durable, easily holding all 20 one kilogram sacks of iron sand.➕ The interior material is a breathable polyester. You know you’re going to sweat working out with this much weight on and the breathable liner makes it a little more comfortable.➕ The shoulders have a light padding, but the 4 inch width helps make it more comfortable. The vest doeasn’t dig into my shoulders, even with a full 20kg load.➕ The 3 adjustable straps keep the weight secure so it doesn’t flop around when I run. I’m 192cm tall and weigh about 90kg, so I’m not a small guy, but this vest has plenty of room to expand.The only thing I can think of as a bit of a negative is the 20kg weight limit. I’ve tried adding ankle and wrist weights, but the wrist weights obscure my smartwatch so I had ditch them. I might have to add a backpack for more weight.Still, this is a great way to get started with rucking, and I highly recommend it!
