Excellent, unless you used a piece of equipment like this it takes a small amount of time to conquer. At 71 years of age, I used the underside of BOSA Ball for 20 yrs assist strengthening my core, and the smaller muscles from in my legs, ankles and feet. You can also use it length ways for stretching your calves and shins. As you progress with your time on the board you will feel then tightness of the core muscles which assist in maintain a healthy back. Use it close to a wall or in between two chairs to assist with staying on the board longer. The Bosa board was large, and this board is perfect. I’m 265 lbs and board is extremely sturdy. Enjoy

Harder than it Looks
At first glance it looks easy, it reminds me of riding a skateboard, but it really is more challenging than it looks. This balance board has a sturdy construction and is well-made. The anti-slip pads work well and are securely adhered to the surface. I have the larger board and bought this one as a second; for some reason it feels easier to balance on than the larger board. I have size 11.5 feet, so there’s not a lot of room on this one (I do like the larger option for that reason). If you’re interested in improving your balance this is a low coast option that will absolutely help you do just that.

Solid wood construction.
Board is very nice and sturdy construction. Only concern is the rubber piece on one of the curves is already split after 2 days. Not sure if it arrived that why or just from using a few times?

Excellent design and craftsmanship
I got this board to help strengthen my ankles and improve balance. The product is very well constructed with excellent grip and contact for my feet. It is an excellent activity for improving balance. My ankles are gaining strength. It is an excellent exercise to improve motor skills and strength.Just learning to balance and control my movements is worth the price of this well crafted device. I have size 13 feet. Both feet fit comfortably. I am 6ft 260. The board is able to comfortably hold me. I would purchase again.

PERFECT Professional balance board following total knee replacement!!
This BB is PERFECT! I am 60 yo and recently had a total knee replacement. It is the exact one used in my PT’s practice so I bought it on Amazon for daily use at home. I LOVE IT!! I am thrilled with the rapid results I am seeing. Know that this particular board is perfect for people of all sizes and shapes, has a fabulous anti-slip surface, and BEST OF ALL, it arrives COMPLETELY assembled!!! NO HASSLES! (Beware: Others do NOT come assembled). Amazing how much benefit is gained so quickly using this everyday! Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve core balance and strengthen lower extremities; especially after surgery. I didn’t realize how badly I needed this until I started using it daily. LOVE!! This balance board is very solid and very well made. It’s 17.5 in x 13.5. The rocker part on the bottom does NOT go to the edges ( about 3 inches in on the 17 inch side and 2 inches in on the 13 inch side). When you put this on the ground, it can stand by itself. It has two rockers on the bottom which are joined by a solid piece of wood.This is heavy duty and weighs 5lbs. You can turn it around (You stand with feet so that heels are near the shorter side) to rock/wobble/balance backwards and forwards vs side to side (stand with heels inside the longer side) . If you’ve been to PT, you know what I am talking about. So this board can wobble side-to-side and backwards and forwards.Looking at some of the reviews, I want to add a few words: If you have good balance, this will probably be too easy for you. But if you have poor balance or want to improve your balance, this is a SAFE device. I have tried some of the round wobble boards with the single (curved) ball on the bottom and they present a challenge which is great but when you have poor balance, you don’t want to break your neck trying to improve it!This board is sturdy and feels very safe. I put it on thin type carpet and I have had zero slippage. The top is covered with a material that resembles the heavy duty sandpaper grit. It’s great for me. It’s not the cheapest on this site and I wasn’t looking for cheap. I wanted safe.Edited to add 4/19I have central vertigo and I’ve made tremendous improvements in my balance after 4 months of using this daily. I watched the company video and am now working on turning my head and then turning my head and shoulders while balancing. Those are the next big steps.The rocker board is by its design less unstable than a board with just one ball (wobble board). This wooden rocker board just gives you one plane of instability at a time. It does not have a 360 degree rotation which is far more challenging. Some sites say that a rocker board (such as the one I’m reviewing) is for beginners. Whatever. Bottom line: I’m not breaking my neck and I’m improving my balance.I love this thing!!

The item took almost 3 weeks to arrive but the quality is excellent and it looks good. It’s the right size for using while both sitting and standing. And let’s face it – it’s just fun! What a great concept for burning a few extra calories and strengthening my core while being otherwise idle at my work desk. Even sitting down, I find my feet playing with it, so it’s keeping me moving. I love it!
