My new favorite pair of lifting straps
I always wanted a pair of leather lifting straps and wavered between Dominion Strength’s and Rogue’s – and I am glad I went with Dominion Strength. Upon opening the package, the quality of the craftsmanship was evident. And unlike some other reviewers’ comments, mine felt pretty soft from the start, and I imagine it being even softer and comfortable as time goes by. I will be using these from now on during my deadlift days, instead of the usual nylon straps. (I will try to post an update after about a year’s use.)Update 7/15/22: As promised in my initial review, here is a brief update about these straps after using them for a year and a half. They have a really good “broken in” feel and are very comfortable on my hands and wrists. But they are just as strong as when I first bought them. There is no sign of cracking or breaking either in the leather or in the stitching. (Note, however, that I’ve occasionally “conditioned” these straps by smearing petroleum jelly on them.) In short, these are the best and most beautiful lifting straps I’ve ever used. It might very well be the last pair of lifting straps I’ll ever need.

These are quality, durable straps. I will recommend these to anyone. The only downside – and I say this only as someone who predominantly used padded / neoprene straps before – is that these are pretty stiff in the beginning, and therefore not quite as comfortable. Of course, the leather will soften over time and become more comfortable, just keep that in mind when making your decision. Overall, you can’t beat the price & quality.

The wrist straps are great!
These lifting straps have a break in period due to being leather. Once broken in, they are the best wrist straps on the market. I highly recommend purchasing these for lifting.

Scraps not straps!
They use scraps to make these. One strap from one type of leather and the other from other. One is lighter and thinner, other darker and thicker that creates uneven grip and uncomfortable lifting experience. Just because it’s made here it doesn’t mean it’s good. They lack some serious quality control before sending them out.
