    Great video
    I have ongoing back problems and I’ve found doing the exercises in this video really, really helps alleviate pain. Recently had an acute attack of sciatica, and using this video for 2-3 days got rid of the worst pain pretty quickly. Each routine is 20 minutes (with one quick 10 minute set for people with time constraints) which is very doable on a daily basis. The instructor is thorough and demonstrates alternatives for those who need them.

    Everyone can benefit from this DVD!
    I have a number of Dean’s workouts and he just keeps getting better with each release! Even though I have a large yoga collection (from multiple instructors) I’m not always consistent so not always ready to jump back in with “power” yoga practices. Dean is a wonderful and caring instructor who takes ego out of the equation to offer an accessible program for everyone. The stretching and strengthening practices are slow and restorative (while using props) with detailed instruction. You will love and use this DVD often to feel better and improve your total body, not just your back! I’m planning on purchasing more of these beginner DVDs to give as gifts, as this is the kind of workout that will improve anyone’s quality of life!

    A game changer for me!
    I am 77 years old and recently purchased this DVD. Dean is not only good looking but he is a knowledgeable instructor! He explains each exercise clearly and is motivating and not intimidating. I was skeptical at first but soon realized I have felt better, stronger. I don’t do the exercises perfectly like Dean..ha, ha!. I make the modification or don’t hold the positions as long at this point. I give this DVD five stars!!!

    Clear detailed descriptions. Each pose has a modification alternative Instructions given are easy to listen to. No harsh voices. BTW improvements after first session. IT REALLY REALLY WORKS

    Gentle but Effective
    I had my eye on this video for years before finally buying it. The price seems a little high for only 4 short videos, but it is really really good for your back, especially if you are over 40. Don’t expect a calorie burning workout, it’s more like physical therapy for your back. Looking at it that way, it is a bargain compared to PT! I do a lot of activity with my back already so I don’t do the strengthening as often (sorry Dean) but I do the gentle stretching routines about three or four times a week. Since the videos are 20 and 10 minutes respectively, I am able to stick with it and not procrastinate! The stretching ones make your spine feel totally realigned. Even though it’s gentle still be careful, and if you’re new to using yoga blocks be careful with those too. If the blocks wobble, you can injure your wrists.Almost forgot…the DVD comes with a free online streaming access 🙂

    Another great video by Dean of Man Flow Yoga
    I’m 52 years old and have had chronic back problems for about 20 years in the form of inoperable Tarlov Cysts up and down my spine and some areas of stenosis. If I maximize the space in my vertebrae and maintain good posture, no nerves will be pinched or compressed and I can be asymptomatic. I’ve been using Dean’s Yoga Fix for a while now Monday through Friday. This new video, Better Back Yoga is the perfect supplement for the weekend when I need some extra routines, weekdays when I want a little more, or just when I need some immediate pain relief. Like all of Dean’s videos, it is non-intimidating for guys, easy to follow, and adaptable whether you are just starting and don’t have much flexibility or can handle a little more. Like all of his videos, he delivers what he promises.

    It’s like having your own physical therapist with you!
    This teacher explains how NOT to overstretch or pull anything. He’s all about getting you properly stretched slowly and in control so you DON’T hurt yourself, and actually get stronger and more limber and able to enjoy all of life much more. I haven’t felt this good since I went to a physical therapist. I feel loosened up, have less pain, and I’ve only done it a few times! Even my husband, who said he could never do yoga, can do this, and he feels better, too. Now my husband and I have another time together that is helpful and enjoyable. Thank you, Dean!

    I suffer occasionally from minor back issues, mostly due to my job which involves mostly sitting at a laptop most of the day. Yoga definitely helps address most of these issues, but I thought I’d try Dean’s DVD given the great reviews. I wasn’t dissappointed and have now ordered another one of his DVDs. His instruction is calm and clear and even with just this one DVD he has helped me to improve my technique in some positions to ensure I’m using the correct muscle groups. Looking forward to receiving my next DVD 🙂

    5 stars and +. I have had back pain for a few years. I tried physiotherapy with no success. I tried massage therapy and it helped release lots of tension. The massage therapist recommended that I do exercise to strengthen the muscles in the back. I have been trying to find a DVD for this purpose and found this one. I always read the evaluation before buying something. One evaluation indicates that his back pain was decreased even on the firt day he followed the program. I was suspicious but decided to try it out. I can confirm I did feel better after the first day. I have been doing the program for 3-4 weeks now and the back pain is alsmost gone. I highly recommend this DVD.

    I injured my back a month and a half ago.I purchased this DVD, more than a month ago, but it was only last week that I finally felt that I could begin to use the exercises on this DVD to strengthen my back and improve my flexibility to try to prevent any future injury.The DVD loads properly and shows the contents, but does not easily move through the menu options. When it finally selects the video of choice, it freezes immediately and refuses to play. Retried multiple times with the same result. All of my other DVDs play without issue.I have reached out to the seller with the email sent with the DVD, twice, without any response.It is also past the return date with Amazon.If I could leave zero stars, I would.
