Fantastic grip, super lightweight mat
I debated for 6 months on which mat to buy to replace my 3 year old Gaiam sol (purple mat in pic below). The alignment markers are what made me really want this mat. I was hesitant bc of the price, but my hubby purchased this for my birthday, and I’m so glad he did!I practice hot 2-3x week. Plus a normal temp power once weekly. I’m a gal who sweats more like a man. I refuse to use a mat towel (even the ones that stay in place). The grip is fantastic even when wet! I can push more effectively in dolphin. The mat soaks up sweat so well.This mat is super lightweight. Stores small bc of its thinness. If you need a little cushion in your mat, this isn’t the one. The texture is similar rubbery feel to a lulu or Gaiam sol. Totally different from the Jade Harmony.If you’re still reading, my only complaint would be the design of the zipper on the bag. I was excited it came with a bag. Previously, I used my strap to store my mat. But it’s a little hard to get the mat out of the bag. I have to pinch the mat (see pic) to get it out. I’ll keep using the mat and see if I get used to using the bag.

Simply amazing
If I knew earlier gay I could by my liforme mate off Amazon I would have . The first experience was great , just took a bit of time coming from over seas to America .I wanted this mat to travel with and while I didn’t come in time for my trip , it did come the day after lol .It was packaged nicely and everything was legit and in tact like when I ordered directly from lifeforme.As for the mat- it’s simply amazing! Has all the perfection as my first mat except it’s lighter and noticeably slimmer – not super slim , but slim enough that if you’re in a packed yoga class I’d opt for this over the regular oneI got the pink color and while I thought it would be a little more muted pink , it actually is a little on the hotter pink side , just a very intense pink – not bad though but not hot pink .The grip is amazing – it pics up oils but that doesn’t affect the grip , and the oils fade. Cleans nicely . Just love this mat

Likes: thin, easy to travel with, great grip.Dislikes: creases, looks worn fast, expensive, shows all dirt and oils from places like your foreheads, cleaning isn’t super easy – maybe a microfiber towel is needed otherwise it streaks

Update 6months of daily 3hr hot yoga sessions
So far I’m very pleased and also put at ease. I’m a mat snob and very skeptical of new mats. I also enjoy a thinner, wider and longer mat, this was the most comparable to my 3 year old, 3mm LuLu.I think marks and stains that come with all mats over time is a badge of honor and I enjoy those as well, so going from a dark to light color will be interesting.I love that the lines on the lifeforme are even more grippy (without abrasion).I’m overall, very impressed and will report back after a 3 hour hot yoga session. ;)THE AFTER UPDATE;It is bittersweet to inform everyone that I’m retiring my 3 y.o Lululemon mat because this lifeforme is BADA$S!!100% recommended by one of the biggest hot yoga mat snobs you’ll ever come across.And again I chose the travel size by choice and wouldn’t have it any other way.so I’m not actually complaining about this but my only complaint would be is that there is zero slip with this mat. I know it’s gross but I used to use the sweat from my neck on my heel to slide into half splits or full splits… that’s not going to happen with this mat and that’s slightly disappointing. I also would rely on my sweat to allow me to widen my knees in child’s pose that also is not going to be an option with this because of how grippy and sticky this mat is. Will also cause “back suction farts” if you don’t have some kind of cloth under your back. like I said I’m not complaining about this but if I had a complaint that would be it.I sweat a lot more than avg people and by the end of a 3 hour class period there is a slight slip.6month update, my two complaints would be 1) the odor that’s setting into my mat.2) But mostly that the top surface is beginning to separate from the backing. I expected this mat to hold up better for much longer. At least 3 years as comparable to Lulu. It is possible I got a bad batch Mat.I’ll do another update in April 2020 if I’m still using it.

No grip whatsoever
I have been practicing for over 10 years and was very excited to try this mat for the grip and the lines. But what I have discovered is this mat is not worth the money. It says it is just as grippy as the regular mat but I was slipping throughout the entire class and even almost injured myself from the lack of grip. The mat does not dry along the parts with the lines. It also has a terrible fishy smell to it so much that I had to apologize to my neighbors. I have many friends that use the standard version of this mat and it seems to be much better.

Questo è il secondo tappetino da yoga della Liforme che ho, il primo da viaggio e sicuramente non sarà l’ultimo:). Pratico yoga tutti i giorni ha una grip eccezionale questo da viaggio è molto leggero e facile da portare. Io ho scelto il colore bianco ed è elegantissimo. È un piacere praticare yoga su questi tappeti.

Quel plaisir de ne pas glisser ( je précise que je ne transpire ni des mains ni des pieds). La posture du chien la tête en bas est devenue un pur moment de plaisir !Attention. Peut-être un peu court pour les personnes très grandes. Je ne mesure que 1m58Il est très fin donc certains ne le trouverons peut-être pas assez moelleux.Un peu lourd aussi mais livré avec sa housse de transportBref je l’adore ❤️
