Customers say

Customers find the book to be a great tool for group facilitation, particularly noting how it works well for treatment and support groups. Moreover, they appreciate the content variety, with one customer mentioning it covers a wide range of topics, and find it helpful as a therapy resource. Fantastic resource for any therapist
Fantastic resource for any therapist. The spiral-bound set-up is ideal for easily making copies to use for handouts. The resources are fantastic; the ideas very creative. I love that these exercises can be used for teens, adults and adolescents. I used three of the activities with a brand-new teen group this weekend and as a result, witnessed six kids with social phobia let their guards down and commit to the therapy experience. This is the first book I have bought of hers; it will definitely not be the last. Thanks, Judy! Keep up the great work.

Seriously love that I can find an exercise, make copies, and I’m off to facilitate group. Literally just used this book today.

    Great Resource!
I work in IOP with seniors, and I’m constantly needing ideas for group sessions. Even if one of the “tips” doesn’t fit the needs of my group, it helps me brainstorm. Thankful for easy-to-implement activities and ideas!

    Great resource
Was told about this book from my supervisor and it is full of wonderful activities and ideas for groups of various ages. Activities can be adapted depending on modality and age and topic of the group. Highly recommend. Will be referring to this often, no doubt.

Worked fantastic for the functions I wanted
This book created great reference material, providing a clear and concise review of important key points and the activities seem to perform well for the groups that we’re into. This book comes highly recommended for anyone looking for idea in group activities, and who wants good tips in Group Therapy. Great review for those who have degrees, and even great reference for those who don’t!

Okay book- has some nice ideas.
I’m an OT and work in a mental health facility with children and adolescents. I was very excited to get this book because I wanted some new group ideas to use with my older patients. The book is okay, not exactly what I expected. It does have some very nice activity ideas in it but it’s not my favorite book. I have purchased books for less that I enjoy more. I will keep it on my shelf to save for a rainy day, but I could go without it.

Excellent took for therapists or coaches working with all age groups. Great for adults and kids. Will definitely be a useful tool in helping me build more group confidence and interpersonal skills programmes for adult clients (:I strongly recommend! The tools can also be utilised on oneself.Everything is easy to understand and not too wordy. Easy to replicate! (:
