Not too hard, not too soft – I use them together. The middle does fall out when carrying it around, so be careful of that. Also just a little too short. But does the job for a travel roller. I use it to roll out my back. Good quality, no smell.

I bought this mostly for the 4″ roller on the inside. It’s awesome! The material has some give but remains firm, so it still allows you to get good pressure without being “hard”. The outer roller is good, it’s made of something like a hard rubber, so it’s got a bit of give but is very firm.I use the inner one for back rolling and stretches, as the 4″ diameter works better for that because it allows me to lay flatter while rolling. I would prefer it to be a bit longer, but the length works and is not a dealbreaker. Overall this purchase exceeded my expectations.

Incredible Muscle and Pressure Relief
Exactly as advertised. Two in one back roller. The outside of the blue part is a bit softer than my previous one (not purchased here), which is a huge improvement! The hard inner shell gives support while the nubs really work into my muscles. The inner, foam only roller is just an exquisite overall muscle relief when the nubby, firmer roller is too much.Great roller!!!
