best out there for the gym
I recently picked up a landmine barbell attachment, and I’ve got to say—it’s quickly become one of my favorite pieces of equipment in my home gym. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how much I’d actually use it at first. I thought, “Sure, it looks cool, but do I really need another attachment?” Well, I can safely say yes—definitely yes.First off, setup was super simple. It just slides into any standard Olympic barbell socket, and you’re good to go. The pivot is smooth, the welds feel solid, and it doesn’t wobble at all when you’re moving weight around. Some cheaper attachments I’ve tried in the past had that weird “clunky” feel, but this one just feels stable and well-built. It gives the bar a nice, fluid arc, which makes exercises feel natural rather than awkward. As for exercises, the possibilities are almost endless. I’ve been using it mostly for landmine presses, single-arm rows, and T-bar rows, and each one feels great. Landmine presses, especially, are fantastic for building shoulder strength without putting too much strain on the joints. And T-bar rows? Game changer. You can load up some serious weight and really hit your back without worrying about balance like you do with free weights. I even tried some squats and rotational core exercises with it, and it adds a fun twist to your standard routines.Another thing I love is that it’s compact. Unlike other bulky attachments or machines, this takes up almost no extra space. Perfect if you’ve got a smaller home gym or just don’t want to dedicate a ton of room to equipment you might not use every day. And since it’s compatible with any Olympic bar, you don’t need to buy a whole new setup—just slide it in and go.My only minor gripe is that it can be a little loud on hard floors when you’re really loading it up, but that’s more of a “floor issue” than the attachment itself. A simple rubber mat solves it in seconds.Overall, I’m genuinely impressed. It’s simple, versatile, and sturdy, and it has definitely expanded the number of exercises I can do at home. If you’re thinking about adding some variety to your workouts, targeting your core, shoulders, and back in a new way, or just want a durable, no-nonsense attachment, this landmine barbell is worth every penny. Personally, I feel like it’s one of those things you don’t realize you needed until you actually start using it.

Good, just wish it had a smidge more stability
This is cool and it works however I feel like there should be a plastic ring at the bottom that is wider than the tube so it doesn’t keep flopping out of the plate. It’s pretty durable and heavy and lets you work on landmine presses/tbar rows

High quality home gym piece. Great fit & sturdy for a lower price than I would have guessed.
The landmine base arrives in 2 large pieces plus a bagged bolt with 2 mini wrenches. It is easy to build in a few seconds, and the wrenches are minimal, but definitely enough for this easy build. Just remember not to overtighten the wrench or the landmine base won’t freely flex during exercise. (The bolt and wrenches are standard shape, so if you loose the wrenches, it should be simple to use either a wrench set or adjustable wrench from your toolbox during later adjustments.)The plug end of the landmine base fits securely in both my cheap “everyday essentials” coated weights and in the spare barbell hole in my weight sled with no annoying wiggle or jostle during exercise. The plug-side is also long enough that you can feel secure that it won’t pop out during exercise. My 2″ barbell also fits snugly in the open end of the landmine base, again with no wiggle between the two. The joint flexes easily and silently (I will just stash the little wrenches in the sled hole where I will store the landmine base), so this seems like a well-specced and well-built product. On the topic of build quality, it also appears to be powder coated, which should help postpone rust. I have to assume friction between a weight or anchor and this landmine base during rotational exercises will inevitably wear away some of the powder coat, making rust possible, but it seems pretty durable after a few uses. The weakest link for rust or durability is probably going to be the bolt, but that is normal, and it looks like a standard bolt, so I can probably easily replace at the hardware store or toolbox junk drawer.All-in-all, this is a pretty solid addition to a home gym, if you want to add any landmine lifts to your routine. I am glad to have it and would recommend.

    Easy to use landmine base
This was easy to set-up and use, with 1 bolt holding the base and barbell holder together & drop it into a couple unused plates. It holds well with 55lb bumpers or a couple smaller bumper plates to hold it securely. It’s a simple design that works well, as long as you have it secure in plates that keep it stable while using it. It’s a quick way to add some versatility to your workouts, without taking up added space or being uncomfortable to use.
