Not the best bang for my bucks! Serious disappointment!
This item lasted two weeks with daily play. The handle tore off after two throws. Not impressed with this item for the price I paid I could have purchased several less expensive options that would still be in use. Poor value for the money. Very disappointed in this product.

Great idea – probably not long lasting unfortunately
I have only let my boys play with it for a bit because I am worried it will bust and I want to take video of it. I will bring it out again in the coming week and try to get a video. The idea is great – just not sure if there is a sturdier way to do this – thicker rubber ball etc.I will be back to update.

Great for large herding breeds
Unfortunately it’s been raining a lot in the northeast so my son’s Bouvier des Flandres hasn’t had a chance to play with the ball outdoors. He has several of these balls and with his size, they only last a few months but they’re great for reducing his energy level and preserving ours. Recommended!

Didn’t last long with my Doberman
This herding ball didn’t hold up long with a Doberman, but if you have a dog that’s less used to carrying all their toys, it might stand up to a bit more playtime. The assembly was easy with the included air pump. There is a small zipper opening in the canvas liner that you can fit the rubber ball into and inflate from there. My five year old dog was definitely interested in playing with the ball. But since all his toys have been of a carry-able size, he spent most of the time trying to pick it up with his mouth rather than kicking it around. This resulted in a puncture to the canvas cover within 5 minutes. It didn’t pierce the rubber ball inside, so it’s still usable at this point, but it won’t last long. The canvas carry strap also came apart when I lifted and swung the ball back and forth a couple times, so definitely not sturdy assembly in that respect. The construction seemed decent but if you have a dog that is at all mouthy with their toys, I wouldn’t expect this to hold up for very long.My rating method:1 star – terrible. I wouldn’t consider buying it.2 stars – marginal at best. Doesn’t meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars – average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I’d probably buy it.4 stars – better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I’d buy it.5 stars – exceptional – far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it.

This is not a dog toy!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It stated it would work for a Rottweiler.Fun toy:I gave it 2 stars because my dog had the best time of his life for about 10 minutes before he put a hole in it. Don’t buy this as a toy it will not hold up. I even asked the question if it was good for a Rottweiler and it said yes. That’s why I bought it. Lost my money on that one.

Only lasted 1 day
This lasted for just 1 afternoon with our dog. I expected the cover to hold up better and prevent punctures, but after just 1 afternoon, it feels like a complete waste. Was hoping for much more durability.

No good
The pump didn’t work so I used a different one. It didn’t quite fit… the ball didn’t inflate all the way. The dog put a hole in it with in the first 5 minutes. No instructions. Had difficulty getting the ball in to the cover. Would not buy this again. And still have not found a ball for my dog to play with.

I don’t think the dogs are sold
So the quality of the ball itself seems good and it was very easy to inflate with the included electronic inflator / deflator. I will say I really wish I had realized that the cover needed to go on before you blew up the ball but I guess that’s something I should have checked before I started inflating it. The cover does not come already on the ball so because of that I figured it would go on after you inflated it but I was wrong. I figured this would be good for both of my black labs because I have one that is obsessed with any ball and then I have another with a bad overbite who cannot pick up a ball. I figured since this one had a handle on the cover both of them would be able to play with it. Because of its size it is slightly difficult for me to kick in a straight line and does not seem to go all that far so the dogs seem to prefer the smaller balls over this one right now. That could change in the future because they are very interested in it and so far nothing has popped it and they have not been able to tear up the cover. For the price of this I am honestly not sure I can recommend it but I guess it really depends on what you are buying it for. The quality seems good so I guess in that case I can recommend it for that alone.
