I bought this because I frequently work out and foam rolling was always suggested for me to work out the kinks. This type of foam roller was recommended to me for the relief I desired. I have been using this foam roller I bought for several days and it has helped my back a lot more than what i could get from someone walking it (risky business). I do have another literal foam roller from target and the two don’t compare, the one I have now is so much better and more functional. It allows me to correctly use it without compromising the roller itself. The strong core underneath the foam holds up extremely well. I walk a lot for work and this has been so good to my body let me tell you; & to mentioned how cute it is. I highly recommend.

Easy to use, effective and gorgeous/FUN colors!
IF you follow my reviews, you know that I’m a bit of a fitness junkie – especially after having 3 kids in 3 years (lol). For reference – I work out about 4-6 times a week, very strenuously. Anyway, a few months ago on the suggestion of a gym friend – I purchased a foam roller from Amazon, watched a couple of youtube videos on how to use it and fell in love. The problem? My husband has monopolized that roller, so I had to head back to amazon and order another. I did a quick search, saw the awesome assortment of funky colors, read the reviews and decided to order one! I actually like it even more than my first roller – it’s hollow and the “foam” portion almost has this memory foam like quality to it that REALLLY makes it SUPER effective. I won’t lie to you guys – the cool colors are what initially drew me in, but when I actually tried it out – I was SOLD! I’m confused about some of the reviews that complain about a lack of directions — it’s pretty simple to google a youtube on how to use a foam roller or ask a trainer how to use one. I’ve never heard of a roller coming with instructions!

Too soft for me
This is not aggressive enough. It has too much give. I needed something with no give. And because it’s a elongated roller it’s hard if not impossible to release trigger points. It’s very well made and looks cool. I imagine for most people it would work. But for anybody with any real muscle density and deep inflamed tissue from weight lifting or trail running you’re going to need something smaller that can sink in deep and that has no give whatsoever. I found a tapered chrome showerhead fits this need perfectly. No I’m not joking.

Was hoping the foam on this would be denser. Size is good, but foam is too flimsy – almost the same as rolling on a PVC pipe
