The power recovery works quite well and as someone older and new to using a walking treadmill and weights using muscles that normally do not get used this is working out good. I believe it helped
Supplements like this are hard to review sometimes. I work out 5 days a week and train to failure or near failure on most lifts. Some weeks I stay under 5 reps for heavy, other weeks I am doing lifts in the 12-15 rep range. I took these consistently, and they seemed to have worked on most days. I know from the past year which routines have left me sore, and almost always do, and many times I was noticeable less sore using this product. But then I’d end up sore the next week and feel drained all morning anyway. In the end, I would say it did help with recovery a bit based on those results.

Do they work?
I understand the science behind these, however I don’t know if they are effective in this dose for me. Im guessing that these may be needed to be taken regularly on a long term basis to see the results? But, with one order, I don’t see any difference in recovery. Maybe I just lack patience, but I would need to feel some sort of difference from one bottle for me to order these again. And, I won’t be doing that. Also, why add beta alanine? For it being known to cause tingles and jitters, why add it to a recovery product? Otherwise, the ingredients make sense, although they are low dose.

Reduced / eliminated soreness and no side effects
I have added this supplement to my routine of daily workouts. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays (my in office days), I only do 30 mins of cardio and 1 ab exercise after work. So I put 4 of these in a sandwich bag and take them right after my workout swallowing them with water from the gym drinking fountain. On my telework and off days (Thursday-Sunday), I do weights in the morning, shoulder/arm day, leg day, chest day, back day along with cardio everyday. I take these pills as soon as I get home from the gym.I have noticed a difference with soreness after my workouts. Prior to these pills I had sore legs, back, arms and shoulders after their respective workouts (and shoulder pain after heavy bench days). All soreness was eliminated or significantly reduced except long term shoulder pain (old rotator cuff injury) which gets aggravated by laying on my side when I sleep. So while this doesn’t help with long term injuries it does reduce soreness post workout.I have had no side effects from taking this on an empty stomach. I believe it does what it is supposed to- reduces inflammation and soreness. Solid product.

Great recovery support without the jitters
I have been using the Active Power & Recovery capsules for a few weeks now, and the difference in post-workout recovery is noticeable. Larger Capsules and Serving Size
The capsules are a little larger than I’m used to, and with a serving size of four capsules, it usually takes two swallows to get the capsule down. On the bright side, there’s just simple ingredients and no bad taste as you take the capsules.
