Good for “throwing” around the house
From my son, who has been using it for about four months: Good for training indoors. Keeps the arm moving and can work on his range of motion. Fun for him to have around the house.

As described.
Works well. I can practice without a partner. If the clip hurts your wrist, just moved it around a little. I position it at the back of my wrist instead of the front otherwise it can hurt when you throw the ball.

Exceeded Expectations and Keeps Delivering! There’s just ONE thing…
CON: Depending on the weight of the ball, the pressure gets transferred into a hefty tug on your wrist and this can actually be quite painful, especially over time.-PRO TIP: You can use a fingerless compression glove or hand wraps to help reduce the tugging while still keeping you fingers nimble and dexterous to practice your throws.PRO: This is great for exercise! Even if you don’t play baseball, I would recommend this to a lot of people for both endurance AND strength training. Simply put in a weighted ball and huzzah! It goes from quick whipping endurance to heavy heaving strength, just like that.PRO: Very EASY to put on and take off.PRO: Very FAST to switch balls for different exercises.TLDR; Great for pitching practice and excellent for all purpose upper body exercise.

It’s ok, it’s better than I thought!
This throwing training sock is a better training tool then I expected, but I have some unfortunate issues with it. I was expecting it to work like the towel drill that I’m not a fan of, but it does help your pitching mechanics better than a towel. The quality seems ok and it feels sturdy, but the netting is a little rough on the hand and knuckles.I was a little surprised how well it worked for myself, and that’s where my main issue is. I ordered this training sock to use with my 9 year old youth team. The description claims it a one size fits all but it’s not. It doesn’t stay on the kids wrist very well and flies off when they throw. I’ve tried a few things to get it to stay on, but their wrist are just to small to keep it in place. It’s overpriced in my opinion, but that could be because it didn’t work out the way I planned.Overall, I would say its a decent training tool for teens and adults. Even though it’s easy to use, I wouldn’t recommend it for younger youth, it may not fit their arm. I’m giving 3.5 stars because it claimed to be one size fits all, and it didn’t fit my young pitchers.

Slides
My little left handed pitcher(11) was hopeful to get some practice in this winter. This may work for bigger people, but slides too far down when he releases the ball. So, he can’t really play with this in the house as intented. Great concept, and easy to use. Take note if your intention is for a child to use this.

A simple training tool for aspiring pitchers…
I ordered this product after seeing a description of it on the Amazon website. I was unaware of this training aid previously, and I thought it was a genius solution to the problem of having to chase down the ball every time you practiced a pitching move. When it arrived, I opened the package and unfolded the sleeve. I tried it on (after first putting a baseball in my hand), then started throwing. The first time it flew completely off my arm, so I tightened the Velcro strap; that worked better, but since iI needed to leave some space at the end of the sleeve to release the ball, the whole sleeve tended to move forward with each pitch. Not sure if it’s me (certainly possible) or the product design (less likely), but I knocked off a star because of that. In fairness to the manufacturer, check out some of the other reviews before you decide that this could be a useful part of your training regimen.ADDENDUM: It was me! I was positioning the sleeve too far up my forearm. When I re-adjusted it at my wrist, it worked perfectly, so I restored the review to 5 stars. Sorry for any confusion…

Too big for kids hands
I get all sorts of weird stuff as a vine reviewer, and this is one of them. I honestly never thought about putting a bag on your hand to practice pitching, but I thought it would work great for kids. I was wrong. I tried it – and it worked GREAT for me – but I gave it to my 8 year old and he launched the bag across the house. We even tied it as tight as it could and it still didn’t hold for him; he had to spread out his hand in order to keep it on there.Long story short: Great for adults, works perfectly, but be ready to buy extra picture frames if your kids plan on using it in the house.
