Excellent Value
This is a excellent belt for the value. It’s thick and sturdy. Looks like it’s built to last a while, but only time will tell. Both side got a felt finish, kinda like a suede finished. I didn’t measure, but it does looks like it’s 10mm thick. Only negative, due to the designed of the belt, but the 2 prongs and 1 inch hole makes it a little hard to put on and off if you want a tight fit. I think the belt could be better if it was 1 prong and 1/2 inch hole from each other. I’m not going to knock a star for that because I got used to putting it on and off. Also the back support is awesome, and the prong area doesnt hurt my midsection. The bag is a nice bonus, but I’m not really using it. It also came with 2 screws, hopefully i wont have to use it.Reason I got this belt cause my nylon belt velcro don’t stick anymore, with this belt, I won’t have to worry about that happening.I will update if it ever breaks at its weak point, otherwise I’m happen with the purchase. (20.25 small)

Was looking to finally get a quality belt after always going cheap. Ironically, this belt was less than eleven dollars with free shipping. Very sturdy and stiff, which is exactly what I was looking for. The buckle appears to be built to last as well. Couldn’t be more happy

This thing is such a let down. I’ve been a bodybuilder for 15 years so I’ve had my share of weight belts. Honestly, just got this one because it looked cool but it is completely unusable. I know 10mm belts are thick and require breaking in but this one is too much. The material is so cheap and stiff that my ribs are still bruised 3 days later from one set of squats I and that’s after hours with a hair dryer trying to give it some flex. The roller on the belt also barely moves so it’s near impossible to get it on and off. If I had trusted my gut and not used it, I’d just return it.

Too thick
I wanted to get a thick well-constructed belt at a good price and this belt fit the criteria. What I’ve figured out after using it is that it’s way TOO THICK. Movements such as chest supported t-bar rows, leg press, etc are impossible to do correctly with this belt bc its thickness either won’t let you keep your core flush against the pad or bc it gets in the way of the movement. This belt hurts my back more than it helps.

Ya lo he probado para hacer peso muerto y sentadillas y no tengo ninguna pega que ponerle. Es bonito, bien ancho para dar una buena estabilidad, de auténtica piel nobuck y no es exageradamente rígido como son muchos otros de este grosor. Además trae una bolsa para su transporte y dos tornillos de repuesto. Eso sí, es un cinturón para powerlifting, si lo que quieres es un cinturón más flexible para poder usarlo un poco para todo y que te deje libertad de movimiento/mayor comodidad mejor busca opciones de menor grosor. Para power que es lo que yo buscaba de momento excelente relación calidad/precio, veamos a ver qué tal resiste con el tiempo.

I have used gyms for most of my life. I started heavy lifting nearly two years ago and I have built up my strength over this time. As it got heavier I bought a neoprene style weight lifters belt with velcro. Which I must admit did a superb job. It was cheap and cheerful and filled a gap. Now I decided to progress to a strength/power lifting belt. As my weights are going up I duly needed the extra support this offered me. I researched the Internet diligently and found BEAST GEAR on amazon. I looked on YouTube and found my guru recommended an American made belt for in excess of £100 plus £20 shipping. With this in kind I found the BEAST GEAR and checked out their reviews on a similar belt. The reviews at that time were 100% and I researched this belt for a time. I ordered a large which for me with a belly circumference of 37 inches leaves plenty of room either way.Now on to what I love about the belt. As soon as I opened the belt I could feel its chunky well stitched abs it looks like,unless it’s stolen could probably outlive me. It’s comfortable straight away. BEAST GEAR don’t advertise that it needs a breaking in period. Or use it and the buckle will undo or do up easier purely and simple because from the first use I could do up and undo this belt. Without the aid of another or the squat. Unlike someone I saw once with a brown similar rdx belt struggling against a squat rack trying to escape it.The leather has a slight suede feel to it. Which lends it a sort of matte finish. Which I think is great.In all this belt is perfect for me at my level. Would be perfect for an absolute beginner as an investment into longevity into heavy lifting. Or even if you are a pro lifter. It certainly fits the bill.I would like to add to BEAST GEAR. To see if they do or could do variation on the belts. This was a selling point for the one I looked at from America. It could be that this small addition could be a unique seller for this country.Ps. Buy this belt which has a buckle. Some of the cheaper belts with a hasp locking mechanism seem to break. Also if you have done it up too tight and can’t release the pressure from the lock it won’t undo. So definitely buy this belt. You won’t regret it.
