I had to try a 13W instead of 13M to find my dream shoe.
I had ordered a similar style in 13M and found them to be too narrow to be comfortable. Mind you, I kept them long enough and wore them enough hoping they would “break in”, but too long to return. 13M from nearly anyone else works well for me. That said, I loved the shoes generally, so I decided to try a 13W. Wow, what a difference. I will say at first step in, I noticed areas where they probed my feet with little bumps. After wearing them now for about 3 hours, in the house, on carpet, etc., these are keepers. They have settled in already. Width is perfect. Inner has somewhat molded to my foot and I feel will only improve with walking. I have gotten used to a well known brand of slip ins and unfortunately, they don’t feel like they will last. When you measure price against comfort…..for me, the value is in the comfort of a high quality shoe that makes you smile with every step. Priceless!!

Perfect blend of cushion plus responsiveness
I love these shoes. They are cushioned well, but not so much that you feel like you are walking in quicksand. They do wear a bit fast…but maybe that’s because I put between 3 and 7 miles a day on them. I got 5 months out of the last pair. Perfect for someone who pronates. If you need stability, get these. If you are totally neutral, get the Ghost. Fit true to size. If you like extra room, go up a half.

My husband is a physical therapist so he’s on his feet a lot. I just purchased these for him and he loves them. He said they’re very comfortable light weight and he can wear them with a lot. He loves Brooke shoes. They did not disappoint.

I like these shoes very much. When I first walked on them the first few steps was very painful. That was due to other shoes that I had and was wearing them when out walking and also on the treadmill made my toes very painful. After a few days these shoes was feeling better as my feet was healing. Now I will only walk and using the treadmill with these shoes as all the pain has disappeared.

Design has changed. Read professional online reviews before purchasing!
I overpronate slightly and to address this have bought either Saucony Omni’s or Brooks Adrenaline for many years, in the past few years just the Brooks. I should learn my lesson and buy several pair of a model I like because these sneaker manufacturers feel the need to change the design every year, I’m guessing for marketing purposes. The design of the GTS24 has changed substantially over previous models and I encourage you to read professional running site reviews before purchasing this model. To begin with the arch support has changed significantly so it has become more of a full blown motion control sneaker rather than a stability sneaker. I’m older and spend more time walking in these sneakers then running now so once I got used to it, it didn’t bother me but if all you are looking for is a little stability, the arch build up might be too much for you now. But my biggest gripe is the lace system. They use small eyelets and the flat cloth style laces rather than the round nylon type of some previous models and these laces are very “sticky”. It is extremely difficult to put these on and take them off or make quick adjustments on the fly. To tighten up the laces in a particular eyelet, you have to completely loosen up all the laces in the eyelets after them before you can loosen or tighten them. Maybe professional runners like this as perhaps you can dial in a more exact fit but I find this extremely frustrating. I’m walking or running and I have stop and spend two or three minutes, untying and loosening up laces to tighten or loosen up one area. These are my gripes but it’s still a very comfortable sneaker to walk or run in if the extra built up arch support does not bother you. Next year however I will go back and try a Saucony or other competing model.

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn in a long, long time. I’ve had nagging plantar fasciitis for awhile and these shoes have given me much needed relief.

Recommended for health issues with feet
Ordered these for my father in law. He is having some health issues with his feet . He also recently lost a toe . These were recommended to him so we thought we better give them a try ! So far so good! He says they are great!
