Always been a fan of BSN, so I would recommend
Best taste, I love the grape flavor as it tastes like Fanta grape soda. It’s good for muscle recovery, getting your vitamin D intakes and so much more. I always bought from BSN since 2014 so I recommend this flavor and brand to everyone. The quality is amazing and it keeps you hydrated as well. The size doesn’t matter to me as they have a bigger tub to buy but for beginners this is the best size to start off first. As for health benefits, I would say it’s good for your kidneys, skin, hair, muscle building and etc as it has vitamin D.

I like it. I used different brands until this BSN Amino X. Some were good and some were just so so. I like this one more on the taste and the results. I go to the gym everyday before swimming. So I need Amino Acid. Not sugar. Quality is perfect.

No more DOMS!
I get really bad DOMS in my legs whenever I do squats. Like really bad. It usually kicks in full about 36 hours after my workout and lasts for at least 3 days. I get very mild DOMS everywhere else, only my hips/thighs are affected adversely. Sitting down or standing up (chair, couch, etc) requires the use of both arms and a lot of grunting. After my last leg day I was so sore for 4 days that I was seriously considering cutting way back on squats or eliminating them all together. I did some research online and saw that BCAAs can help and figured it was worth a try. I’ve tried almost every supplement under the sun and believe the vast majority of them are snake oil so I was very skeptical about trying BCAAs.I did my regular leg day (including squats) on a Wed afternoon, including doing higher weight and more sets than I did the previous leg day that left me sore for 3 days. This product arrived on Thurs afternoon just as I was beginning to feel the effects of DOMS in my legs. I was worried that my weekend was going to be spent shuffling around like an old man. So I opened this package and took a dose in the evening. I woke up this AM and after taking my regular hot shower realized not only did my legs not hurt worse than when I went to sleep, they actually felt better. Not 100% normal, but better than when I went to sleep. I took another half dose this morning (Fri) and am now typing this at noon and can say my legs feel 100% normal. No pain, no soreness, no tightness, no DOMS.I am well aware of the placebo effect and how it works. But I do not believe for a second that it could have this much of an impact on me physiologically. My legs feel completely normal 48 hours after a leg workout. That has never happened in my entire life. I’ve done more leg days than I could possibly even attempt to count and I’ve always been significantly impacted 48 hours after a normal (not light) leg day.I’m a convert and will continue to use this until I see a different results.Oh and the watermelon flavor tastes just like a Jolly Rancher of the same flavor. It does contain an artificial sweetener, which I wish it did not, but you cannot have everything. The flavor was excellent, just a slight artificial sweetener after taste, and it dissolved easily in a cup of water. It does foam up a little before it settles down too.If anything changes (good or bad) I will update this review.Update Dec 2020 – I tried a different brand recently and boy was that a mistake. The flavor was horrible. So I switched back to this brand and can say the flavor is great.

Amino acids
At the age of 35, my body has been feeling sore after hitting the gym 4x a week & running anywhere from 10-30 miles a week. I was looking for something to help with energy boosts but also something that’ll help my body recover faster. This product seemed to help with both. Overall, it’s a great product. Tastes good and does what is advertised. I’ll consider buying again once I need a refill.

Amazing taste and effective products!
BSN products are always delicious, yes it higher calories, but I need them! Super easy to use, mixes completely with water and is like a treat before/during/after a work out and haSlow greatly with recovery and minimizing DOMS! Smell and taste are AMAZING! No stimulants so no jitters or sleep disturbance! Quality products! You get a good amount for the price! Recommend, I will be purchasing again for sure!

Grape is the best flavor for me
This is a great supplement for all the reasons other reviewers mention. Got the grape first and I thought it was good, if a little concentrated in flavor. I like it best with some ice! Next I thought I would try the watermelon flavor so I bought the big one. Oops, turns out the watermelon is not a very concentrated flavor, and by the time I get to the bottom of the shaker I almost can’t stomach it. So from now on I’ll stick with the grape!

Taste awful
I’m not one to complain or write bad reviews. I am incredibly easy to please and will eat or drink practically anything. But I just had to put my 2 cents in about this. It may be great for muscle recovery. I can’t say I’ve noticed much help. But it tastes absolutely awful. I have to force myself to to drink it till I finish it. I’ve come to the point where I mix it with my fiber in order to help with the taste. I’m definitely not buying this again. Will most likely look into un flavored from now on, just to be safe.

Da wir im Studio eine Getränkeflat haben dachte ich selten daran mir ein eigenes Getränk zu besorgen. Dann wurde ich über die Inhaltsstoffe “unserer” Getränke aufgeklärt und die Suche nach einem Workoutdrink ging los.Ich nutze Amino X jetzt seit knapp 2 Wochen und werde es auch weiter nutzen. Mittlerweile ist der Unterschied ganz klar erkennbar.Es fördert in hohem Maße die Regeneration. Früher war ich nach einem Hardcore Workout mit mindestens 24 Stunden Pause “gestraft”, seit ca 1 Woche kann ich meinen Körper an sein Limit treiben und am nächsten Morgen fühl ich mich fit genug für eine 2te Runde.Es gibt Energie dank dem Taurin, was ich als positiv empfinde da ich oft nach der Arbeit anfangs eher keine Energie fürs Training habe, doch ein paar kräftige Schlucke vor dem Training und es kann losgehen.Für alle denen es um Pump, oder Optik, geht. Amino X versorgt dich mit allem was du brauchst um etwas leisten zu können.Es pumpt weder auf, noch schenkt es dir Bärenkräfte.Es hilft dir allerdings an dein Limit zu gehen, und das Tag für Tag, wenn du möchtest. Wobei ich mich immer wieder auf meine Pausentage freue…

Certainement les meilleurs BCAA du marché au niveau rapport qualité – prix. 10g de bcaa par dose soit le double de beaucoup de produits concurrents, et en plus 2g d’électrolytes pour la réhydratation, le tout pour 0g de sucres ! Le goût framboise bleue (blue raz) est délicieux et bien rafraîchissant. A boire très frais pour bien apprécier le goût. je recommande ce produit et j’en racheterai.
