What’s up with the brand name? COCKCHAFER.Sounds like an inappropriate name. I didn’t realize it until I opened the package. It’s my bad because the brand label is visible in the advertising photos.Protection quality is good. A medium is an adult XS. Velcro is good.

Knee pads.
My son likes theese and he feels more safe and confident in the skate park. The plastic cups are a good depth and size for stable placement. Also a decent manyfacturing quality. There are strings sticking out here and there but the placment of the straps and the stitching is done right. My son is 4 and the straps are a bit long for him spatially on the wrists. Also you can’t really wear the knee pads with shorts becouse the thick rubber badges are behind the knees and when the knee bends its causing discomfort. With pants it’s all good.

Temporary pads for a growing kid
My 3-year-old is a bit hardcore; She wants to hop on any bike or skateboard. I got these pads for some peace of mind when she’s feeling particularly adventurous. So far, they fit well, she thinks they’re cool, and we’ve avoided a few scrapes and bruises. They feel pretty basic and light-weight, but they do the job.

Terrible name, great protection
Our son is 7YO, very skinny and slightly short for his age. We ordered the size Small and it fits well with room to grow.He has a scooter, skateboard, skates and a bike, but rarely uses them because he outgrew his old pads and is scared of taking a tumble (his balance isn’t quite there yet!).This protective gear set offers great elbow and knee protection. The wrist guards are more for skating / skateboarding but are a welcome addition. The fabric interior provides good cushioning while the hard plastic exterior provides durable protection.The knee and elbow protectors are pretty comfy, easy to wear. The wrist guards are a little more fiddly to put on and our son doesn’t love the restricted motion (but better than scraping up your palms when you inevitably fall at speed).The only real negative is the visible branding on the pads. Cockchafer might fly over a child’s head but it makes my wife and I cringe. Lost a star for that.Great value at the time of review ($9.99). For peace of mind, absolutely worth it!

Great quality and value
The Cockchafer protective gear set includes complete guards for knees, elbows and wrists. They are well-made and seem to be durable. The medium size fits perfectly on my 10 year old son. This is a great protective set for the price. I have no complaints.
