I picked these up for a recent trip (as suggested by another reviewer!) and they were awesome for travel. The individual packets are super convenient to toss in a carry-on or gym bag. I really appreciate the blend of magnesium, potassium, and zinc, and the fact that they use Stevia and Monk Fruit instead of artificial sweeteners or sugar—it aligns with my dietary goals. I felt genuinely hydrated and noticed a good recovery boost after a long flight and a tough hike.The only real drawback, and why I docked a star, is the Watermelon flavor is very sweet. I have to use at least 16-20 ounces of water per packet to dilute it enough to be enjoyable. If you don’t mind a strong flavor, this is an easy 5 stars, but for me, the potent sweetness makes it a bit much. Excellent product otherwise, especially for the high-quality ingredients.

Watermelon flavor tastes great!
I have heard the Designs for Health brand recommended before by health practitioners, so I was interested in trying their hydration supplement. According to their website, “All Designs for Health® ingredients are tested against their specifications for potency, purity, and identity, and against contamination at external ISO certified laboratories. “ This matters to me.I tried the Watermelon flavor of ElectroPure Hydration and love it. It tastes like salty watermelon. I was actually a little skeptical at first because watermelon can be a difficult flavor to get right, but this tastes great. I mixed mine with 16 ounces of water as directed, and it dissolved easily.I appreciate that this supplement is sweetened by steviol glycosides. The seller’s listing states it is also sweetened with monk fruit, but I do not see that in the ingredient list.Electrolytes can be essential for rehydration after intense exercise or other causes of dehydration, but I do not take electrolytes every day and I don’t have high blood pressure. Usually I like to have an electrolyte drink when hiking in the summer.

These electrolyte packets are very good. The taste is mild which I prefer as opposed to sweet or syrupy. The powder dissolves easily though it’s better in room temperature water and they’re great first thing in the morning. The only reason they get 4 stars is the price, they’re a bit spendy for electrolytes.

Missed the Mark on Flavor and Function
I was really hopeful about these hydration packets since I usually love Designs for Health products, but they missed the mark on this one. The flavor is not great, and I found myself struggling to finish the drink. The formula also contains about half the sodium of the other, more popular brand I use, making it less effective for replenishing electrolytes.For the price and the quantity, I expected a better flavor and a stronger electrolyte balance. Unfortunately, this one was a disappointment for me.

I’m someone who sweats a lot when working out, so staying hydrated can be a challenge. And honestly, some electrolyte drinks taste like chemicals or are just way too sweet. That’s why I decided to give Designs for Health ElectroPure packets a try. I’m glad I did!First off, the watermelon flavor is actually really good! It’s not artificial tasting at all – it’s genuinely refreshing. It’s not super sweet, slightly tart actually. Also, thankfully it dissolves super easily in water with no gritty residue like some powders have.More importantly, it actually works! I noticed a difference during my workouts; felt less fatigued and didn’t get that drained feeling afterwards. Even just on hot days when I’m out and about, having one of these packets has been a life saver.I also really appreciate that they use stevia and monk fruit to sweeten it instead of tons of sugar or artificial sweeteners. There’s just enough sweetness without getting that sugar crash you sometimes get with other drinks. It feels a lot healthier overall.And the stick packs are super convenient! They’re perfect for throwing in my gym bag, backpack, or even keeping a few in my car for when I need them. Makes it so easy to stay hydrated on the go. One in a 550ml bottle is perfect imo.Overall, I’m really impressed with these. If you’re looking for an electrolyte drink that actually tastes good, is made with good ingredients, and works well, I would definitely recommend giving these a try! I’ll be reordering them for sure!.
