Purchased the blue & rainbow jump ropes for my 6yo and 8yo. The price is excellent for a toy I wasn’t even sure would be a hit with my kids, but I was looking for something they could do to burn off energy indoors with all the summer heat this year. The bright and fun colors are right on the mark, and the ropes are lightweight enough for them both. Beads help the ropes keep from tangling, and help to teach them then rhythm of skipping, with a slower and more deliberate mode of action. These ropes are good quality and well worth their price. They arrive long so you can cut them to fit each user’s height. I gave my kids a little extra slack for growing on, but I’m sure the size will suit them for awhile. Stepping on the middle of the rope with sneakers on, the ends of the handles should come to the armpit of the jumper. Remove some of the beads, leave some empty space near the handles to turn, and use a lighter to seal the ends of the knots.

Fun colored & classic
These are just like jump ropes I remember from my childhood! My younger daughter had been trying to jump rope with a rope jump rope that just didn’t have any weight and it was hard. These have just the right amount of weight to really help. They are also adjustable in length. I like that it came in a two-pack and the colors are really fun! Now my daughters have “their own” jump rope because I adjusted them differently for their different heights. My 7 year old went from barely jump roping at all to being able to jump 34 times in a row pretty quickly with this rope! She’s now working on tricks like crossing her arms over. (And she asked me to share that in this review!)

Great product and perfect for a classroom or school or just fun at home. It was a good price point and I they did not break which was what I was afraid of being a plastic jump rope.

Just like I had in school
Got these for my young kids to play with as they reminded me of what I used to use in school. Shupping took forever, lots of delays before it ever shipped from the distributor, months in my case, but as I ordered them inwinter, i wasnt bothered. They are simple, but exactly as described. Could have used a couple more beads on each to account for stretch from their weight, but overall very good. Just be sure they are currently in stock if you need them in a hurry.

Jumping into Operation Christmas Child Boxes!
I bought these colorful ropes for Operation Christmas Child boxes. They’re nice looking, feel very similar to what we (I’m an “Elder Millennial”) used on the playground and in gym. I didn’t try them out, but I was a jump rope fiend as a kid, and I would’ve been happy to receive one of these ropes! The length can be adjusted, I believe they are a little over 7 ft. (I ended up buying longer ropes for teen boys’ boxes.) I would buy these again.

Misleading product description
The product description is misleading. The handle is made out of plastic, not wood as described so it doesn’t have the nice warm feel as wood would. Otherwise, this jump rope is great – adjustable and weighted by the plastic beads which make it easier to jump rope.
