Firm, Functional For a Decent Price for my Treadmill!
I purchased a BalanceFrom Fitness 3′ x 6.5′ High Density Gym Equipment Mat after I purchased a treadmill – with my carpeting the treadmill was moving while I was on it and it was dangerous so I bought this mat. I’ve had it for over a year now which is why I have rated so long to give a review and it still holding its own. I don’t know about the noise reduction as I live in the middle of rural Georgia and I’m hearing impaired so I can’t help y’all there. However, my treadmill does not move at all now! It’s stationary as it should be. I’ve noticed some reviews where folks said that there was an odor to the mat, but mine had a slight odor so I laid it out on my porch on a dry sunny day, aired it out and I brought it back inside. I had a friend of mine help me move the treadmill. We put the mat down and it’s been there ever since – on top of a very thin carpet. I have plenty of room to maneuver, the treadmill is centered perfect fit, and the mat is thick enough and has a firm grip, and it functions exactly what I needed.

Perfect Mat for Apartment Treadmill; Reduces Vibration and Protects Floor
I bought a treadmill for my apartment (you can check my review on that if you’d like: SereneLife SLFTRD 18) so I wanted a rubber mat to place underneath to protect my floor and to reduce vibrations for my neighbors below me. The floor has been kept free of damage thanks to this mat and I have asked them multiple times if the treadmill bothers them and they haven’t even noticed I’m on, so to that end, this mat is def helping (please ask your neighbors if you decide on purchasing a treadmill for an apartment/shared living complex, it’s the nice and right thing to do). The mat isn’t overly thick, but just enough, and it does not cause any unsteadiness to the treadmill that is on top. Please double check dimensions prior to purchasing. You can easily clean the mat using a vacuum. I would def recommend this mat for anyone needing to protect their floors and/or reduce vibrations from an exercising equipment!

Disclaimer — there is some sort of free item claim upon review submission. But then i review most of my purchases and this one is no different. this review is not impacted by the free item claim.Requirement — this mat was purchased for some in garage / patio calisthenics workouts owing to Covid-19 situation. this is a heavy well built mattress. straight out of the boxhad that rubber / chemical smell (not overpowering but it was there).Put it out in the sun for a coupe of days (bright sunny and rainy as well) and the smell is all gone. Now sits in the garage for workouts and has been put to a month+ of daily usgae.Pros —- extremely well built, sturdy and heavy mattress.– Thickness is decent for the amount paid. spot jogging on it did mitigate the impact from the ground.– the rubber density is very good. indents do get created as you stand on it but no to the extent to feel the ground beneath.– grippy surface — the texture is such to not let the foot slip and that is very helpful for mountain climbers/burpees.Cons —- dust does tend to reduce the grip a bit. A simple fix is to wipe it with a wet power towel (cleanex wipes are great but i am not sure of the effects of chemicals in the long run).Definitely recommended.

Better than expected. Quality mat at half the price of the name brand ones. Put this under my bike trainer so I can drip sweat and periodically lube the chain without destroying the floor. What’s not to like?

Very sturdy, worth the money
The bench is solid and easy to assemble. Very comfortable and offers multiple positions of incline from flat to 90 degrees The pads are thick but not squishy, very solid support with heavy weight.

Very good mat for exercise equipment (e.g. bike trainer). It is long and wide enough for most exercise equipment while many others are a bit too narrow. Good durability but be careful with bike shoe cleats that protrude from the bottom of cycling shoes as they may cut the foam. I use mountain bike SPD pedals which are flat. Consider placing a towel on the mat if using SPD-SL road cleats. You probably want a towel under the bike to absorb sweat anyways. Foam mat is thick enough to make it an excellent option to use for on-floor exercises (e.g. sit-ups). Recommended.

Needed a mat for under a free-standing heavy punching bag (which moves around A LOT). Also…carpet. This thing is perfect! The 3 x 6.5-ft is the perfect size (perhaps size down if looking for a bike mat). It’s comfortable to jump around on, stays in place on carpet, and even keeps the bag in place for the most part. Seems very durable. Excellent exercise mat and for the price it can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend.
