Beautiful Mat Bag
This mat bag is absolutely beautiful and of exceptional quality. I bring my mat with me 3-5 days a week on a 2-hour walking/public transit commute, and it has held up beautifully for 7 months- looks as good as the day I received it. I get many compliments on it. There is a pocket that fits a yoga block, but I often use this for other accessories (yoga strap, wallet, snack). There are two smaller pockets. I put my phone in one and my ear buds in the other. The fabric is very thick and sturdy. I never worry about my nice mat while it is in the bag. There is enough room inside that I can throw a towel in with my mat. The strap is very comfortable and puts the mat in a very comfortable position on my shoulder. It is no problem to carry the mat for 4 hours a day. Overall, this mat bag is fantastic. I would order it over and over again (but I don’t have to because it is STURDY). Very happy. It’s nice enough that I’d love to give it as a gift to a friend or family member who wanted one. Order it and you will not be disappointed.

Gaiam yoga mat carrier
I love this bag. It’s very pretty and it fits my gaiam yoga mat perfectly with plenty of space up top for a yoga towel and also a holder for my phone or yoga strap on the outside. The only reason I gave four stars was because of the holes in the bag from the plastic fasteners that held the cardboard tag on. I really wish the manufacturer had not used the punch hole fasteners and had just put the cardboard insert over the bag or used a ribbon to tie it. There are eight big holes which is excessive and there’s nothing you can do about the holes. They are much bigger than they typically are (like on clothing items, for example). Otherwise, I absolutely love this bag!

Fits my yoga mat (Manuka x, 68 inches – and the bag would have no problem holder a longer mat) with no problems. The pockets are a good size – the large one holds my phone and car keys without problem, and the small one hold an extra hair tie and lip balm, easily. The pockets velcro closure work well. I had a Gaiam bag in the past that I used for years without problems. I did wash it once and air dried it (not the dryer), and because it is cotton it did still shrink a little. I won’t wash this because I like the roominess so that I don’t have to roll my yoga mat too tight. I’m really pleased with this, and the color, Niagra, is a really peaceful blueish green. The design is attractive, and gender neutral, too. This bag is perfect for me.

Great bag but didn’t hold what I needed it to – fits just one yoga mat
This is a very sturdy and attractive bag. I needed a yoga mat bag that would fit my regular size yoga mat, a regular size (not thick) beach towel that I use, one yoga block, and have a pocket for my keys/phone/lip balm. It’s a perfect fit for one regular size yoga mat but nothing else. I was sad to have to return it. Perfect if you just need it for a yoga mat!

Mats, blocks and straps are the obvious, asana-based props, but getting that equipment safely to and from the studio is important, too.Yoga mat slings don’t provide protection against the elements, so I bought this Gaiam bag to hold my 5mm Aurorae Synergy mat. I love it. After a year of 5-day a week use, it’s still like new. The 2”-wide and 36”-long adjustable strap means I can sling this bag over either my shoulder or torso even when wearing a thick winter coat. The bottom end is fully enclosed meaning you can tuck the mat onto that end, zip up along the side and over the top for a snug fit.There’s an 8”-deep Velcro-close cargo pocket on the bottom half, below the word “Breathe,” and a smaller 5”-deep pocket on the opposite top side. These are handy compartments for headbands, scrunchies, ponytail holders, and other little items. Cramming anything else in – like wallets, cellphones – while my extra thick mat is packed, would be a tight fit. I pack those items in the sackpack that also holds my cork bricks, towel, water bottle and strap.This bag is another outstanding product from a leader in yoga gear.

I love that this bag is made of cotton, and I especially love that the zipper has closure points from both ends. It has two pockets, one that is wide enough to hold a large phone or wallet, and another that is appropriate for membership passes or credit cards. Fits my standard size yoga mat with room to spare. Very fast shipping too!

La borsa, nonostante nel titolo sia scritto verde, arriva nel bellissimo colore viola della foto. Per quel che l’ho pagata mi aspettavo un cotone misero, invece è di un bel cotone resistente ed e’ molto ben fatta. Occhio alle misure del vostro tappetino, il mio è sottile e ci sta giusto giusto, forse quelli più spessi e larghi fanno fatica a starci. Per me un ottimo affare, sono molto soddisfatta.

I bought this bag as I needed a way to transport my yoga mat when I was cycling. I have a standard size 6mm thick mat and it fits the bag well. The zip is sturdy and it is easy to fit the mat in as the opening runs from the bottom of the bag right through the top and ends at the back of the bag. It is a double zipper, i.e., one zip but with two zip ends so you can just open up a small part of the bag if you want.I was concerned that the two pockets (a large one on the front and a smaller one on the back) might not hold items well as they fasten with velcro but I have found them fit for purpose. The one at the front is large enough to take a strap, my keys and a phone, but the bag would not fit a block as well. The small pocket would probably also take a phone and definitely fits my gym card.The strap is fully adjustable and adequate for a medium sized woman when the bag is worn across the back. It is quite tight across the chest (I’m a size 12) with just a T shirt on, I haven’t yet had the chance to try it when wearing a coat (but am unlikely to wear a thick one as I’m cycling). I do find the strap twists slightly but it is not uncomfortable.The bag is made of a strong canvas, the purple is brighter than the picture shows. I don’t know if it is colour fast, I will find out when it rains! I would have liked a waterproof fabric but this seemed the best item for a price I could afford.I have cycled with the bag on my back and found it hasn’t affected my balance at all, it is a good way to transport a mat on a bike – however it does protrude slightly on either side so I have to be careful when walking through doors that I don’t get stuck!
