    Functional, Well Designed
Glad I finally made the leap to a smart scale. There are several out there but I chose Garmin because I am already on the Garmin Connect ecosystem so it syncs right away and stores all my data. Makes training more informed. One negative is, although they include feet for the carpet, this scale just will not work well on carpet. If that is your plan you’ll need some kind of stable hard surface to put over the carpet and under the scale. Fortunately, I have a spare bathroom I almost never use so I just put it on the floor in there. Just make sure it is level because it is precise and if it gets off balance it can give erroneous readings. It can also be a little finicky to turn on or sometimes it does a weird hourglass thing and then turns back off. I think the hourglass is a rebalance script where it is assessing the stability and re-zeroing. So it’s not as fast as just jumping on a scale. But I can get the data I want, directly sent to Garmin Connect, in less than 1 minute so it does exactly what I need.

    Fast, accurate and worth it.
Got that Garmin Scale. It’s cool. It’s big enough for my wide feet and I feel it’s extremely accurate. I compared some of the measurements to a recent BodPod and DEXA scan and the measurements only varied 1-2%.I didn’t care for the mirrored surface. Especially since I take the measurements sans clothes. After 35 years I can finally see what every women and meal sees. It’s awkward and makes me feel some type of way.Garmin, please stop making mirrored surface scales. People that are fit and have self esteem don’t use scales. That means that those of us that do don’t need an extra kick in between the legs each morning when we use your product. #justsayinAnyways, I still think this product is fantastic and will endorse anything Garmin!

    Awesome scale
I read a lot of reviews about the inaccuracy of the body fat measurement of this scale. The reviews almost made me not purchase this scale. I’m glad I did! The day I received the scale I also had a Dexa scan done to establish a baseline body fat measurement. I was able to adjust the Activity Class in the Garmin App to match the scan. This is a great scale and although a little pricey it’s well worth it!

Not a great value for the Money…
The scale is accurate but it requires you to use your WiFi Hotspot on your phone to use so it can upload to the Garmin Connect app. Not very practical, in my opinion. The body weight measuring is accurate but the rest ofbthe measurements are not, especially when it measures percent body fat. The body fat measuring ability of this scale is high, and by a good 5%! This is not what I would have expected from Garmin. In order to receive accurate, reliable percent body fat measures (and all other body composition measures) you need to have two metal pads on each side of the side for you to place your toes and heels on. This scale does not have that. I bought a very reliable scale from Arboleaf for only $25 on Amazon and it is accurate to within 1% of my body fat. You need an app to run it but you don’t need WiFi for it to sync with your phone. It can’t connect to Garmin Connect or Samsung Health (a minor drawback) but overall great value for the money!Garmin needs to go back to the drawing board with this scale, especially if they want to be competitive. They need to significantly reduce the price and add metal pads for foot placement. That is what I would do if I were Garmin.

Difficult to wake or switch users SOLVED
Scale seems to work well enough and WIFI has been working flawlessly. We had many failed attempts at switching the user and sent the wrong peoples weight to the wrong user. It says to “tap” the side to cycle through users. That rarely worked. When the wrong initials show up for the user that is not on the scale simply step off and quickly bend down and put your finger under the scale, slightly lift it up off the ground about 1mm and let it drop back to the ground. Doing this in quick succession will allow you to cycle through the users and not send weigh ins to the wrong person. Pretty lame that this is what it takes for my $150 scale to register a “tap”.Data seems good, I haven’t compared it to anything else yet but it at least seems consistent.

If you like Garmin it’s a no brainer
I love this scale. It is really easy to set up and after that you don’t even have to think about it much. I just step on it when I get up in the morning and get on with my day. All the data magically shows up in the Garmin Connect app. It’s great if you are already using other Garmin products, like a watch. Recently I got a nice fitness watch from another brand as a gift. I’m using that watch but I still use the Garmin Connect app to see weight and other metrics that the scale records. There are a few apps that will sync Garmin Connect weight with other services so don’t think you are stuck with the Garmin ecosystem. I must say I like Garmin’s software better than the other brand of watch I got, but it was the top of the line watch so I use it.

There are better scales on the market
Glitchy, requires resetting too often. Bodyfat measurement is nearly 10% off! Garmin should have put more time into this.

    Interesting
The scale was purchased “like new” and it wouldn’t pair with the app. Garmin support was great, and they were unable to pair as well because the serial number didn’t exist in their system. So, Garmin offered a new scale under the warranty. I think there was probably something fishy with the seller??

BELLA BILANCIA, FUNZIONI INTERESSANTI E MOLTE METRICHE RILEVABILI. PURTROPPO NON è MOLTO PRECISA NELLA RIPETIZIONE DEL PESO. INOLTRE SPESSO NON SI ACCENDE AL TOCCO MA BISOGNA PESTARLA PIU VOLTE PER FARLA ACCENDERE. A VOLTE NON INVIA I DATI RILEVATI.

Being deep into the Garmin ecosystem this was a want of mine. Even on sale this is a lot to pay for battery smart scale. Works seamlessly with Garmin Connect over home wifi. Has lots of parameters that can be useful depending on level interest. Dark black is color. Can get a little ‘grotty’ after a while, I wipe it down with a glass cleaner than a damp cloth and dry it every few weeks.
