My old digital scale finally died. Was it because I crushed it with my weight? No, it’s just the scale wouldn’t reset with new batteries, but it was also a no-name brand from China. Since I knew I wanted to replace my scale, I decided to ignore the TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram scale influencers hawking the latest no-name scales from China. Instead, I bought a GE-branded scale, which was probably made in the same factories. That said, I’m happy I chose the brand name, and I love my new scale.The Bluetooth capability with this scale is fantastic. I love the fact that I can track my weight, body fat, water weight, etc. It’s nice to keep averages, and the iPhone App communicates effortlessly with the scale. I get all of my readings in one place, and I love the fact I can see graphs as my weight fluctuates. The ONLY thing I don’t like is that the App tells me that I’m overweight, which I am not. According to US-based health standards, I should weigh a certain amount, but I’m 5 lbs above that amount. I’m super healthy, and nobody would ever look at me and tell me that I needed to lose 5 lbs. I think many of the US standards for weight are antiquated and need to be adjusted. A 5’9” man who weighs 170 lbs is not overweight, but the scale and metrics will tell you that you are. There needs to be a way to shut that off, especially for those people trying to diet and lose weight. The US weight average states that a 5’9” man should weigh between 131-160 lbs. Yeah, those numbers don’t mean you are healthy. If you weigh 175 lbs and are 5’9” but all muscle, the scale will still tell you that you are overweight. Hey GE, add a setting to your phone App so people can shut that functionality off.Everything else about the scale is great. It’s small, super sturdy, and easy to read from above. It communicates flawlessly with your phone, and you can easily track tons (pun intended) of metrics. For the sub-$25 price point, it’s a smart buy for a smart scale.Pros: Great small scale and the “smart” tech gives you tons of readings for BMI, water, etc. The phone App works perfectly.Cons: The App needs to have the ability to turn off the “overweight” settings.

This scale is great. I have been wanting to get a scale that does the full body mark up for a while and While its a bit more money than i would have liked to have spent, its still on the cheaper side compared to other brands. The smart app worked great on my phone (android) and was easy to set up. It tranfers the data from the scale easily. It looks very sleek. The wand that comes up from the scale is very discreet and pops right back into place so that its not hanging out of the scale on the floor. As far as i can tell the readings are accurate. Ive checked my weight and body fat count several times since i have had it. The readings have been consistant. I also found that it works for weighing smaller items like i weighed my dog and a frozen turkey (Not at the same time). Its miles above the smart scale i had been using that only took weight. If you need a smart scale that also reads more like bodyfat percentage, i reccomend this one.

Really good in many ways. I suspect it’s better than many of these devices. But, when I switched to athletic mode my fat% dropped significantly. This seems to indicate heuristics rather than measurements drive the results. I liked the app. Overall really good, but take it with a grain of salt

Great weight tracking device!
This smart scale is easy to set up and use. I downloaded the app, connected it to the scale and it was ready to use in just a few minutes. The scale looks modern and marials feels strong and sturdy.When step on it, it takes some seconds and shows the weight and other body info like body fat, BMI, muscle mass, and more, similar to machines I’ve used at the gym. The numbers show clearly on the screen, and on the app i gives full report. Unfortuantly I don’t have other device to compare and see how accurate the data is, but I do believe its correct.The app is simple to use and shows progress over time and easly compares current readings with previous one. I can easily see how my body is changing. Other people in my house can also use the scale with their own profiles.A great scale for anyone who wants to track their health and fitness in a smart and easy way.
