I really shopped around for finding the right sized mat for my space. I like that they offer a variety of sizes.+ Easy set up – place heavy objects on each corner of the mat overnight before first use+ Arrived in perfect condition, no tears or creases that didn’t resolve themselves after unpacking+ Comes with storage straps if you plan on keeping this rolled up in between using it+ The thickness was just what I needed for pilates, stretching and light weight work+ Easy to clean & dries quickly- Slight odor when you first unpack it but it goes away in a day or two- If you’re looking to lift heavy weights or olympic lifting this mat is more squishy than sturdy

YAAASSSSSS! This thing is a game-changer! It’s so huge, I’m pretty sure I could lay down and take a nap on it (not that I would ever do that, wink wink).And let me tell you, this mat has got some serious grip – it doesn’t slip, even when I’m sweating like a pig and my workout is more like slip n’ slide. It’s like a little slice of heaven for my feet, knees, and everything in between.Not only does this mat make my workouts more comfortable, it also makes me feel like a real fitness queen. I mean, who wouldn’t want to work out on a mat that’s bigger than their first apartment?Overall, if you’re in the market for an exercise mat that’s big enough to cover the entire floor and will make you feel like a superstar, then the GXMMAT Extra Large Exercise Mat is the one for you.

Great mat for home gym
We were looking for a very specific gym mat. Most gym mats at a larger size have a standard of 7mm thickness. But we were looking for something thicker than that for when we have to do floor exercises and need to be on our knees. Our choices were very limited. We were lucky to find this mat that was a tad thicker but also relatively large so that we could fit our home gym on it and have enough room to move without stepping off the mat.I’ve been happy with it. It’s very durable as we move a bench around the mat repeatedly and I like that it doesn’t slide about and has some cushion when you stand on it.

Soft and comfortable, but lacking durability
This mat is soft and comfortable and compresses similar to memory foam. It is quite thin, however, but that is listed honestly in the product description. My mat measures just slightly short of 6′ long and just over 4′ wide, so it’s approximately as advertised.My main problem is that the mat is shredding at the top layer from the pressure of my shoes while doing push-ups, burpees, mountain climbers, etc. You can see the damage in the photo; it’s not gotten too bad yet but that’s just a few days’ use. I have had to move to putting my hands on the mat and my feet on the concrete floor so that the mat doesn’t get damaged any more. This defeats the purpose of a workout mat in many ways, unfortunately.I think this mat would be good for barefoot yoga and stretching. It’s not really a “gym” mat for doing functional exercises. For the price paid ($109), I don’t feel I got a reasonable value.
