Best travel mat of 3 I tried from Amazon
I ordered 3 travel yoga mats from Amazon, and this was the cheapest AND best one. It was the lightest and thinnest and most pliable one: easy to fold into a luggage or squeeze into a hitchhiking backpack. It’s also the least slippery, both dry and while drenched in my sweat. All I have to do is readjust my hands slightly when I start to slip and that’s enough to get a firm grip again. And even though it’s very thin, it gives my knees just enough cushion so I feel no pain or discomfort. 5/5 for me.

Not sticky enough for me
I bought it to use on top of my much thicker yoga mat, which is hard to thoroughly wash. I was disappointed because my feet kept slipping. I returned it.

Lightest travel mat I could find
I travel a lot, but weight is at a premium, so I was looking for the lightest mat I could find. This one clocks in at 1.4lbs, which is pretty amazing (I bought the Gaiam travel mat, which is scored so you can fold it and so pretty, but it’s twice as heavy as this one). It is thin enough to fold, but I think it will take up less space and travel better rolled. It still has a bit of squish to it for such a thin mat, but I’d use it on a carpet. It was a little slippery with my first sweaty workout, but I didn’t wash it first, so I will try that. It is great for slower yin practices. The grey is really a mushroom/fawn brown, which is fine, but I’d love more color options (midnight blue anyone?).

Light and Sticky
Weight was my first priority and then stickiness. This mat is it. Only 1.12 pounds. It Has wonderful new yoga mat smell, lol. Very thin, but that means good for travel, and I do not care, you can always use it on soft carpet or hotel towel for xtra cushion.

Great!
Great yoga mat! This is for travel so the thickness is just right for packing (it can be folded). Glad to have bought it!

Not sweat proof
I was hoping this mat would be a good substitute for my very old mat, but my sweaty hands and feet slid immediately. I’m keeping it as I have no other options. Keep looking if you sweat and slide like me.

Get mat for travel.
This mat is perfect for folding up and putting it on your suitcase. You may need a towel for your knees.

Great for a travel mat
Incredibly lightweight with a decent cushion for its thickness. I’m a yoga teacher who travels lots and has tried tons of yoga mats — this is definitely one of the best travel mats out there. A good one for checked baggage when you’re a tight on weight. Great value for money. I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews! I wish hugger mugger had a yoga teacher discount like so many other brands 🙏
