    All Muscles Said ‘Ahhh’
All Muscles Said ‘Ahhh’Getting older (or just, you know, living) comes with its fair share of aches and pains. My muscles, bless their overworked souls, often feel like tightly wound springs, especially after a workout or a long day hunched over a computer. I knew foam rolling was supposed to help, but my previous attempts with super hard rollers felt more like a medieval torture device than a path to relief. I’d end up more bruised and cranky than before. I was about ready to give up on the whole idea until I decided to try the OPTP PRO-ROLLER Super Soft. And folks, this is the foam roller that changed everything for me.The “Super Soft” isn’t just a label; it’s a promise, and this roller delivers. Unlike those rock-hard cylinders that make you wince on contact, this one has a gentle give to it. It’s firm enough to get into those tight spots and release tension, but soft enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re rolling over gravel. It’s the perfect balance between effective and comfortable.Using this roller is actually something I look forward to now. I can target my tight hamstrings, sore calves, or stiff back without bracing for impact. The 36-inch length is perfect for rolling out my entire back or both legs at once, making the process much more efficient. It allows me to apply pressure exactly where I need it, slowly working through knots and areas of tension. The impact has been significant. My post-workout recovery is faster, my muscles feel less tight throughout the day, and I’ve even noticed an improvement in my flexibility. It’s become an essential part of my self-care routine, a few minutes each day dedicated to showing my muscles some much-needed love. It helps me feel more mobile and less restricted. If you’ve been intimidated by traditional, hard foam rollers, or if you have sensitive muscles that need a gentler touch, you absolutely need to try the OPTP PRO-ROLLER Super Soft. It’s effective, comfortable, and has made a genuine difference in how my body feels. It’s an investment in your comfort and mobility that’s truly worth it.

    OPTP soft foam roller.
I bought this OPTP soft foam roller. The soft density (firmness) is perfect for me. I was able to use it without experiencing pain. The quality is good. It thought it was effective because I felt better after using it. I bought the long one about 36 inches. I like the long one because I can use on both legs at the same time for some of the rolling. But for me, if I had to choose one I think I would like the shorter one because it would be easier to use for some of the exercises. The shorter one seems like it would be a better size for me because I am 5 feet 3 inches.I have a firm foam roller (different brand) that is about 20 some inches at home as well which is quite painful when I use it on my quads and or side the my legs. Therefore I don’t use on the front or sides of my body. But I can tolerate it on the hamstrings and glutes.

    Soft roller
Pretty soft roller; not as firm as I was expecting. When I roll my quads the ends lift up—that’s how soft it is. More of a gentle pressure. Maybe good for older people. Seems like decent quality. But it does the job

    Sweet relief for back pain
Great for managing back pain. I mostly have pain in my upper back and behind my left shoulder (thoracic spine and trapezius muscle). I’m usually hunched over a laptop. It makes sense to use something to stretch my back the other way. First, I tried a cheap foam roller from Target. It was hard and painful to use. I saw that this brand, OPTP, had good reviews and was recommended by chiropractors. It is expensive, but my back was bothering me so much that I figured it was worth it for my health. After using it for three months, I’m glad I bought it and do recommend it.How I use it? I place it on the floor perpendicular to my body behind my upper back. My hands are behind my head with my elbows almost touching (This is key. I will get more relief this way than if my elbows were to the side). With my feet flat on the floor, I lift up my butt and start rolling up and down between my neck and lower back. Sometimes, you will hear cracks right away. Other times, you will need to push your back down on it as you roll. If you have long hair, remember to tie it back or it will get rolled under like the first time I used it, lol. Same reason you want to tuck in your shirt too.How often do I use it? I usually like to use it after I’ve gotten out of bed, after I’ve been sitting or on the computer for a while, andbefore bed.How soft is it? It’s firm enough to provide relief during the roll but not painful to use. I didn’t want to get a hard roller from my badexperience with the one from Target. So based on the reviews, I chose the pink one which is supposed to be softer than the blue one. The dimensions are 35.5” long and 5.5” wide. The pain in my back is still there (does back pain ever go away?), but it’s better than before I used this foam roller. I also use theAncient Minerals Magnesium Oil Ultra Spray with OptiMSM to help manage the pain. I like it so far and will review it soon.

Perfect density, helpful textured surface and worth the price!
Excellent product! I read a lot of reviews and bought a cheaper foam roller that was so dense it was actually quite painful to lay on as directed by my PT. This roller has significantly more give and is comfortable to lay on to do my stretches. It still offers enough support so it holds shape when you have all of your weight pressing down on it. Someone mentioned an odor and I didn’t notice any odor when I unboxed it. The texture on the surface makes it easier to get on and off of it without it slipping away from you.

The soft density really helped my wife gain access to foam rolling. She couldn’t use the harder ones, which meant she couldn’t do any foam rolling before she got this one. She also really enjoyed the length of this one as you can lay it along your spine in a stretch that opens up your chest which is very useful for posture problems.
