A good rack at a great price is a great rack!
For the price, this is an amazing rack. It was a bit challenging to build. As another reviewer mentioned, the instructions are a little archaic. It definitely became easier when I involved another person. I would NOT recommend building this without 2 people. The rack portion does exactly what it should do. I have felt very safe during bench, squat, RDL, etc. activities and have not had a concern whatsoever. The pulley system took a minute to get used to and understand. Once I realized that it required even weight for smoothness, I was able to get a great experience out of the power rack.Only complaint really is that it’s challenging to find information on this, even with the manual at times. For example, the J hooks it came with are generally fine. However, I find myself racking the weight on the ‘upper ledge’ of this particular style of J hook (likely due to working with a girl and not setting it up perfectly for myself). The hole sizing seems to be undocumented. Not a major issue, I’ll head downstairs and measure it in a few moments. Just an example of the quirks that come with this type of rack.5/5 for the price, durability, and functionality.

Good quality with some significant caveats
First of all, do not expect a pain-free setup. The directions are very archaic. Second, expect items to be labeled wrong, which is frustrating. 4 and 5 were labeled wrong for me. The very poor pictures and design of the cage is the only way I determined this, but of course, I wasted my time prior assuming I would not have to experience this oversight. Thirdly, the rings you place the wheels in (item 21 application) are not properly spaced. I had to use my torque wrench handle to pry it apart enough to get the wheel in. This occurred for half or more of the wheels. Fourth, packages will likely straight up be lacking any label at all, leaving it up to you to discern it from well over 40 separate bags of stuff. That being said, despite a few scuffs from shoddy packaging, I am pleased with the rack and it was well worth the money considering the prime deal I got it at. I would rather have a hard bar than the straps to catch weight, but I didn’t want to spend another $150 or more to have that instead. Overall, I recommend this rack—for now.Picture is the start of the gym setup. Quite a bit to go, but I will say the rack looks nice and feels sturdy. Need to test the pulleys out before I can comment too much, but seem relatively smooth.

Great value for what you get.
I was comparing racks for a while. I didn’t want to spend too much money as I am trying to stay in a budget. I have been using it for two weeks and so far, I am impressed. It came in two separate deliveries in two consecutive days. I put it together by myself except I did need help with the pull up bar. It took 4 hours to complete. It would have been a little less time but the instructions are vague on the routing of the cables. It is very stable. I have it sitting on 1/2 inch foam mat. The pulley system is fairly smooth. I may try changing out the pulleys at some point if I start lifting heavier. I think this rack will be good for a long time. For the value this rack is a good choice.

Great value and very versatile.
The Garvee rack was delivered quickly in two boxes that came on two separate but consecutive days. Instructions were pretty clear and all of the pieces were received. I had one minor concern with one joint of the honeycomb frame which seemed slightly bent which made it a little tricky to insert an adjoining piece but lucky I have a rubber mallet which made it work. I made the choice in advance of receiving this rack to upgrade the pulleys to aluminum which required me to buy 21 pulleys separately but it was definitely worth it. Pulley system is smooth and much better than my old DIY pulley system. Assembly was pretty easy and I did it on my own. While this is not as sturdy as a 3×3 11 gauge steel “luxury” rack, this seems like it will get the job done at an extremely reasonable price. I’d recommend this to anyone lifting weights for health and fitness but not for powerlifting. Probably good for 90% of the population looking for home workouts.

Awesome Power Cage
First of all this power cage is great, it hits every thing that I’m looking to work out. Took a little bit to get together and was a little bit confusing when installing the power cables and one part was missing in the installation process but we were able to figure it out and overall it was easy enough to build with two people. It’s sturdy, durable, strong and great value for the money, very happy with it.

Awesome Cage!
It took a bit to put together but it’s all fairly easy and self explanatory. I was skeptical about it but the build quality is great and the whole thing is sturdy when it’s all put together. With a cover and regular maintenance I can see this lasting for a very long time. Overall I’m super happy with it, cables run smooth. The extras are great. Definitely recommend this cage.

4 Stars… Your package could be different from mine.
I did need to bend two of the bars that house pully wheels which i did with a wrench. There is also no written instructions so i needed to watch the video in slowmo a bunch of times. There is a single piece of paper that you’ll need to cross reference with the video that is very annoying. A few pieces were scratched pretty deep as well. But this is a super affordable power rack. I told myself it was like buying a used piece and delt with it. The last think I wanted to do was repackage and try to return this thing because that sounds awful. Now that it is built i am pretty happy with it bang for buck.
