Got this youth ice pack for my son’s shoulder and elbow after long baseball weekends, and it’s been perfect. The size fits smaller arms really well and stays in place without slipping. It gets nice and cold but not too stiff, so it’s comfortable to wear while he rests or watches TV. The quality feels solid, and the adjustable straps make it easy for him to put on by himself. Definitely a must-have for any kid playing sports!

[September 2025 – My unbiased review of “REVIX Arm Ice Pack Wrap for Pitchers – Shoulder and Elbow Ice Pack Reusable Cold Therapy Wrap for Baseball Pitcher Arm Recovery, Adjustable Compression Sleeve for Post-Workout Muscle Relief”]I sometimes play some softball at the weekends (not baseball), but I wanted to get this ice pack wrap for the times when my elbow or shoulder are aching. I found I can actually fold, wrap and strap it in several different ways. That allows me to wrap both my shoulder and elbow at the same time – as the maker intended – or just on one or the other, depending on which bit or bits are hurting. Hopefully you can see the different arrangements in my photos.This is a very well constructed wrap, with gel filled shoulder and elbow/arm sections that have a soft lining which helps make it feel comfortable, and the hook & loop-ended adjustable straps help to keep it in place, but it is all a bit heavy and bulky, so bear that in mind. Also, there’s a wide upper arm strap which is elastic but not adjustable, and that’ seems a bit odd since it could easily have been an adjustable strap instead. As it is, it’s a wee bit tight on me, but it feels OK once I get everything arranged on my upper arm properly. (It’s fairly easy to put on, but if you’re unsure, there are a couple of videos on the Amazon listing that show you.)The wrap comes with a reusable plastic bag which the instructions say is supposed to be for when the wrap is in the freezer. (It’s meant to be frozen for at least four hours before use, so I just keep it in the top drawer all the time.) That’s when the soft lining really adds value – it stops the inside of the wrap feeling very cold or clammy against bare skin. Once it’s on, it definitely is effective in cooling aching muscles and I’ve enjoyed using it several times so far.The large one appears to be good value at its current price of $29.98 (Sept 04, 2025) and there’s even a coupon at the moment, so if you’re looing for a large, heavy-duty, multi-area ice pack wrap, this one is a very good option.

Perfect fit!
After having rotator cuff surgery this is absolutely perfect! I love that it velcros around the arm and that is not a sleeve that you have to try and slide your arm into, which is not easy to do after surgery. It also comes with a zip lock bag to store in the freezer so that it doesn’t get ice on it. Perfect fit and easy to use. I am am adult with a smaller frame and it fits. It is comfortable and weeks great! Freezes up quickly too.

Bottom-heavy and clunky but will do in a pinch
This is decently made – it appears sturdy and the materials and construction are better than expected. This would not be my first choice, though. It’s heavy and cumbersome, and because the ice packs aren’t removable, you have to throw the whole thing in the freezer to chill it for use. The biggest issue is that it’s tough to get it to sit securely on my shoulder; it keeps wanting to slide down, due to gravity and how bottom heavy it is, and the only way to get it to stay is to tighten the straps more than is comfortable and to not move around a lot. It’s also not very supple, and between that and my scrawny arms, it doesn’t wrap very well around my shoulder or arm.I think this would be better if it covered both shoulders and maybe skipped the elbows; then offer a separate product for the arm/elbows for those who need it. It’d be a lot more balanced that way. I know this is likely designed for people who happen to have a shoulder and arm/elbow in need of icing at the same time, but if they want to keep it to one product, this really should be redesigned to fit better – one simple (partial) fix might be to make the shoulder part larger and the ice packs there thicker (they’re pretty thin as is), which would help balance out the weight. Maybe also make the ice packs in the elbow/arm part removable.I’ll likely keep this to use in a pinch, but if I end up needing to ice my shoulder/arm often, I’ll look for a better option.
