Great for supplements
I’ve been using this scale for several years and it has proven to be very reliable. It’s compact and easy to pack for travel thanks to the included protective lid. If you need to measure grams of amino acids, pre-workout mixes, or other supplements, it works perfectly.One feature I especially appreciate is the clear, LED-lit display. It makes weighing easy in the early morning or evening without needing to turn on extra lights. A durable, accurate, and highly convenient little scale.

The Smart Weigh gets an A+
This digital scale was purchased to weigh jewelry metals and I hit the Jackpot on the first try with the SmartWeigh The package containing the scale with attached flip cover, a lightweight soft vinyl case and printed instructions arrived quickly and in good condition. The slim size and protective flip top allows it to fit easily in a purse or pocket. I am writing from the perspective of a first time digital scale owner. Overall, I was highly impressed at the quality of the product for the price. It is doing everything I wanted it to do and some things that I did not realize that I would need it to do. Calibration and mode changes are very simple. I do recommend actually reading the 4 miniature pages of instructions.Accuracy: It appears to be very accurate for a personal scale. Per my calibration set, out of the box it weighed 0.13 – 0.14 grams low. I followed the simple calibration technique and it weighs within 0 .01grams (one hundreths) on weights from 1 gram to the maximum of 300 grams. ( 300 grams is required to calibrate. I ordered a single 300 gram weight that arrived broken before finding an 8 piece set for only a couple of dollars more in a case. Even though I have to use the 100 + 200g weights simultaneously, I prefer the set ) The scale is very sensitive to breezes, even breathing directly on it, and vibrations.The 2.7″ x 2.2″ table is small but the Tare function allows an increased volume to be weighed easily.Four button function versatility:1)On/Off2)M = weight mode change with minimum weights for each mode: 0.01 grams, 0.001 ounces,0.05 ct, 0.001 troy ounces, 0.01 dwt, 0.2 grains. The M key is also used for calibration which takes only a minute or two max.3)C = Counts number of items being weighed. (I have not used this function)4)T = Tare subtracts the empty container weight so that the item weight is displayed allowing items to be place in a plastic cup/tray, etc.Other features: Battery saving 60 second auto off and 2 year warranty.Negatives: If the 300 gram weight limit and choosing your scale location wisely is not a problem, then there are no negatives.I highly recommend this little scale for small items.

A sensitive but reliable pocket sized scale
Smart Weigh ZIP600 is a nice little scale depending on what your needs are. Personally, I bought this scale to help with my dieting and portion control when I go out to restaurants. The scale itself is quite sensitive to movement so you have to clear the weight each time you use it. It only takes a second to set the scale down, hit the C button and then proceed to weigh your items. I’m not quite sure why many have an issue with this scale and state that it doesn’t work, but I have noticed with this portable scales you have to be precise with it. You have to set it down on a level platform and let it settle for a moment to auto-calibrate, set the scale to 0 and then weigh your item. This takes no more than 30 seconds to do. All in all, this was a good purchase and the pocket size allows me to carry this around in my jacket pocket and discreetly use it without anyone knowing that I’m weighing out 4oz of steak instead of eating the entire 12oz like i want to.

Decent accuracy and many useful units!
I just got it, but so far it seems pretty good! The weight fluctuates a bit in the .01 range, but was accurate enough to weigh the battery tab within .02g (it was .07g, and the scale would fluctuate between .05 to .07). If it fluctuates with tiny items, tapping the tray very lightly seems to stabilize it.It has a number of different weigh modes which is great – it weighs in grams, ounces, Troy ounces, pennyweight, carats, and grains. I got it for gemstones and coins, so it’s perfect for my needs.It’s slightly heavier than I expected, and I do wish it came with a calibration weight, but that’s okay. Overall I’m impressed with it for the price, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a tiny scale to weigh tiny stuff.

Great product
Perfect size! Fits easily in small pocket of purse which helps protect it. I wanted something easy to carry as I often pick up foods from various places and often weighing during the work day is just impossible… or at least it was before! I track my intake and this makes it so much betteron days I don’t have time to plan ahead/measure ahead.Update 1/27/17 The cover to the item has been used at least 20 times to weigh ungainly foods that will not fit, but that is what it is meant to be used for. The cover has completely snapped the attachment today. If this didn’t still have a case, I’d be pretty unhappy. Maybe in the future consider making a metal attachment so that removal & use of the plastic top won’t be cut much shorter than the life of the product itself. Still pretty happy with it though.

I bought these scales so we could use them for weighing medication liquid when children have to bring medication to the after-school club. We are going to use these when transferring medication over to and from school as part of our safeguarding policy.I am very pleased with them. I’m using this scale to weigh carbon arrows that both my wife and I use with our bows. So far the scale has been great. It’s easy to use and seems to give good consistent results.The reason I know it’s giving good consistent results is because I’m weighing multiple weight-matched carbon arrows advertised as +/- 2 grains (130mg) and field points and then I can pair up slightly heavier arrows with slightly lighter field points to within 1 grain of the total weight for all of them.I did need to calibrate it first though, and I strongly recommend that you do as well. You will need to get a 300 gram weight for the automatic calibration. It seems to stay pretty well calibrated after that one time.It’s also quite small (fits in the palm of my hand) and comes with a little leatherette carrying case.Very happy with it so far!
