Overall great dog food. Highly recommend
I’ve noticed my dogs coat is shinier. His mobility has improved. He was usually slow getting up from naps or getting up and down stairs. He’s moving a bit faster now. I tend to split his kibble with a meat, veggies and rice mix. The bag lasts me the whole month this way so the price is worth it to me.UPDATE 9/18I have been using this brand for a few months and have 0 complaints. I do want to share an experience I had though. Due to some temporary tight finances I had to buy a store brand food for onyx. My poor dog broke out in an allergic reaction and kept rubbing his tail and butt all over every edge of my house/furniture. I made sure to purchase this SOLIDGOLD goodness the second my next check hit. His hair is returning and he has stopped rage itching all over my house. I will never make the mistake of cutting corners on his food again and I wonder how much I ignored his butt rubbing previously. The store brand I purchased was like in flavor so the reaction was truly alarming. This stuff has literally saved him a lot of grief.

We just love this dog food! I have a 5 pound shihtzu-maltese, and he wont eat anything else. At first he would pick out the “nutrient boosts” and leave them in a pile on the floor, but slowly he got used to them. This food has never caused any problems for my dog, and is quality dog food! The only thing I would say is that its a bit overpriced.

Best and healthiest dry dog food I’ve found.
Hard to find in stores but Amazon has it. My dogs love this boutique brand salmon for sensitive stomach. They are very picky spaniels but always ready for their food.

The best dog food
this is the only food I feed my Pomeranians. I learned that my first pom, Mina had reactions to some dog treats I had bought that turned out to be made in China. From that moment I made sure that all of her treats and dog food were made in the USA. This food is clean, and made from healthy ingredients that my dogs love. They have no stomach issues and hardly ever any gas. The kibble is tiny, and heart shaped. Solid Gold has me as a forever customer.

Quality food with a high price tag
I have a five pound chihuahua who is missing a few teeth. The kibbles are tiny little hearts which is great for small sized dogs. It’s not soft food, but it’s also not like the super hard crunchy kibbles that are usually sold in grocery stores. My boy is very picky and this is one of only two types of kibble he will eat. The bigger sized pieces break in half fairly easy. The food stays fresh and doesn’t get stale as long as it’s stored properly. It is expensive though. One bag barely lasts my dog a month. The bag is much bigger than what’s in it.

My dogs have been on this food for more than 5 years. It was the first dry dog food that both of them would actually eat, and overall, I love it. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because a while ago, they added large dark pieces that my dogs refuse to eat. It’s really sad, especially since one of my dogs is completely blind and has learned to pick out the dark pieces. I really wish they had kept the original recipe without adding these pieces because it was truly an amazing dog food for my dogs. Now, I’m stuck — this is the only dry food they’ve ever liked, but every day, I’m cleaning up the pieces they won’t eat.

Improved my GSD’s digestive issues and coat!
My German Shepherd with a super sensitive stomach LOVES this food! It has also improved her skin and coat as well! Her coat was dull and is now super shiny and soft! The quality of this dog food definitely is worth it for the price. I appreciate the fact that Solid Gold uses premium and simple ingredients. My only caveat is that I wish it came in a larger size than 22lbs.
