Excellent, unless you used a piece of equipment like this it takes a small amount of time to conquer. At 71 years of age, I used the underside of BOSA Ball for 20 yrs assist strengthening my core, and the smaller muscles from in my legs, ankles and feet. You can also use it length ways for stretching your calves and shins. As you progress with your time on the board you will feel then tightness of the core muscles which assist in maintain a healthy back. Use it close to a wall or in between two chairs to assist with staying on the board longer. The Bosa board was large, and this board is perfect. I’m 265 lbs and board is extremely sturdy. Enjoy

This device is well made. Very sturdy. I like the large size and rectangular shape as it accommodates my size 14 shoes. I am 75 but fairly fit from walking and lifting weights. But balance has not been my strong suit. I find the advanced model challenging as it tilts in all directions. But I am glad i bought this model. The basic side to side model is likely easier to use but will not provide balancing skills that will prevent falls. For that you need to be prepared to right yourself if you start falling in any direction. It is important to have something to hold onto when you first start. I stand in front of my exercise bike where the upright handlebars provide a reassuring handhold when needed. The bars are at just the right height so I can stand fully upright (I am 6 feet tall) and not have to lower my shoulders and arms. I hold the bars when mounting the device, then let go and am able to then grab the bars if/when I start to topple too far. I keep an area rug under the device to prevent scuffing (and others have said the strips on the bottom can come off after repeated use on hard floors). I wear shoes as the non slip surface grips my socks too firmly, slowing down my reaction time if I have to move my feet. You probably should try it with and without shoes to see what works for you. I look forward to making further progress in balance training and trying some of the exercises when I can balance on the device for longer periods.

PERFECT Professional balance board following total knee replacement!!
This BB is PERFECT! I am 60 yo and recently had a total knee replacement. It is the exact one used in my PT’s practice so I bought it on Amazon for daily use at home. I LOVE IT!! I am thrilled with the rapid results I am seeing. Know that this particular board is perfect for people of all sizes and shapes, has a fabulous anti-slip surface, and BEST OF ALL, it arrives COMPLETELY assembled!!! NO HASSLES! (Beware: Others do NOT come assembled). Amazing how much benefit is gained so quickly using this everyday! Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve core balance and strengthen lower extremities; especially after surgery. I didn’t realize how badly I needed this until I started using it daily. LOVE!! Easy to use and good quality
I thought it would be difficult to use. However it is very easy to use. The design is very sturdy and the board itself needs plenty of room to adjust yourself on it

The item took almost 3 weeks to arrive but the quality is excellent and it looks good. It’s the right size for using while both sitting and standing. And let’s face it – it’s just fun! What a great concept for burning a few extra calories and strengthening my core while being otherwise idle at my work desk. Even sitting down, I find my feet playing with it, so it’s keeping me moving. I love it!
