Easy on the knees
Great quality mat, super durable, no slip, and thicker to provide comfort and knee support. I got it for my dad who wanted to start excersizing again, but wasn’t sure if hitting the gym was in his cards anymore. Has worked great!

Grip & comfort!
It took me a while to find a mat with the perfect balance between grip & comfort. And THIS IS IT! First of all the Pagoda Blue color is BEAUTIFUL. It has 2 layers – the top rubbery part has some textures that gives me good grip and stability for yoga & mat pilates classes (I don’t do hot yoga though). And the bottom foamy part has ample thickness to support my pelvis and knees. I don’t find myself reaching for my knee pads anymore 🙂 The whole construction feels solid & durable.It rolls up pretty nicely for a very thick mat, and it is a little heavier than your average yoga mats if you need to carry it to class but it’s so worth it in my opinion.The only annoying part is the strap that comes free with it. It’s strong but not elastic, so it takes me forever to pack my mat out of class. In the meantime, I got separate elastic velcro straps from another Amazon brand ELLENTURE (4th photo). Been awesome so far – quick release and strongly hold this mat’s thickness – though I am still looking for a nice carrier so I can go hands-free.

Quality, heavy duty natural materials
It’s heavy! I like the quality and durability. The natural rubber actually smells good compared to synthetic materials which smell like chemicals.I use it on an uneven surface and it’s thick so it smooths everything out.

I love it
This is the PERFECT yoga mat. It’s just the right thickness for people who have sensitive wrists and other joints. It’s also great to nap on LOL. I’ve had it for several months and it hasn’t torn or anything. It’s also pretty big. I mean not so much that you won’t stand out in your yoga class, but big enough to put under your sleeping bag while camping. It’s very versatile! I love this thing

Functional and comfortable
This is a thick and low slip mat. I use for hot yoga and find it to be functional and comfortable. Only complaint is that is wrinkles on the end when I roll it up after yoga practice.

Update 1/25: I really like the cushioning of this mat, but I’m lowering my star rating because after less than 5 months of use, it’s starting to shred where my feet and hands go. It’s really too bad, because as far as cushioning goes, this mat is great. It’s just not worth the cost of $50 if it isn’t going to last, though.Earlier review:This yoga mat is the best I’ve ever used. It is very non-slip from the first use. The cushioning is amazing, also. I have pretty bony knees and I’ve always had to use extra padding for them – not so with this mat. The downside is that the smell is terrible, and I can also smell the awful chemical rubber smell on my hands until I wash them. I hope that this dissipates soon. In addition, I wish I had gotten a darker color because the dirt really shows on the light blue mat.
