Great tool to improve posture
I’ve had poor posture for as long as I can remember. At 4yo I remember my mom making me aware I slouched. In my 20s, I had multiple coworkers and friends point out my hunch, especially when working a desk job. Now in my 40s, my husband is constantly pulling my shoulders back, warning me that I’m going to look like Quasimodo as I age. As a result, I’ve tried posture correctors, exercises, and other techniques over the years. Honestly, anything works IF you stick to it to strengthen the muscles that hold good posture in place and retrain that muscle memory…but it’s hard to stick with it as we all know!So this posture corrector. 5 star. It’s sturdy without being too bulky, the material is breathable and washable, and the Velcro is easy to reposition while holding well. I have another in this style but prefer this one. The back cross is wider and feels like it trains my back and shoulder muscle with more support. I should have put a tank top on for pictures instead of a sweater but you can hopefully see the immediate difference in my back after putting this on minutes before. If you have limited mobility, you may find this challenging to put on. I find putting my arms up in the air and sliding it on like you used to put on a shirt when you were a small kid to work best for me.Wearing this as I type this review and my muscles are feeling it making me very aware of where they should be holding my posture. I’ll use this 20-30 mins once to twice a day, then gradually work up to where my muscles don’t “feel the burn” because they’ve hopefully strengthened over the course of a few weeks to months. From there it’s a matter of constantly reminding myself to keep that posture to build muscle memory, using this posture corrector as needed!

Same comfort!!
I recently purchased this upper back brace. It does help me to stand up straighter. As far as comfort, it’s exactly the same comfort level as the ones that I’ve had (and lost) in the past! I also like that it is so lightweight.

Well made, and seems to help
** NOTE: This product page and all the reviews in this section (as of 9/12/25) combine two different variants of the posture corrector. This review is for the ‘full back’ variant.**I find this works on the margins, in nudging me to hold my shoulders back (I hunch over – it’s sadly become my normal). It also provides a bit of support for doing so – like a seat belt might hold you in while napping in the car or plane. I’ve actually found it fairly comfortable, but I don’t pull the supporting straps too tightly.I also find it fairly easy to put on and adjust (though the directions are confusing, so took me a while to figure out at first). Like they say, once you get the straps into the buckles, oriented so that you can pull them up in front of you to tighten, you put it on like a backpack. This looks very well made – thick, sturdy, soft fabric and sturdy velcro – and I think it’s a nice deal at the current price ($15 at the time of this review). I’m excited to wear this more, when hunched over my computer 24/7, to see if it will help repattern my posture in the longer term. I’m a huge believer in the power of habits and muscle memory, having seen it play out in other areas of my health/wellbeing, so am hopeful it’ll help at least a little.I’m on the petite side (XS female), so can’t say for sure it’ll work equally well for others, but it does seem to have a lot of adjustability for different sized people.

Comfortable. Maybe Not For The Very Petite. Easy Enough To Manage. Sits In The Armpits.
I ordered this mostly to help correct my husband’s upper back posture, but I figured either of us could use it any time we’re experiencing back pain. For reference, my husband is 6’0, 170 pounds, and he wears a size M t-shirt. And I’m a 5’4, 110-pound woman that typically wears a teen size S or XS.I feel that this fits us both well enough, but I do struggle to tighten the Velcro straps tightly enough to feel or see much of a difference, keeping in mind that I do already have excellent posture. You tighten this by pulling the Velcro, from near the armpit area, up toward your shoulders in the front. In my case, I pull the Velcro completely over my shoulders, where there is hardly any remaining space in the back for the Velcro to latch. Maybe that’s as tight as this needs to be on me, but I can’t tell for sure, as I’m currently not experiencing any back pain. Once or twice a year, I’m likely to experience back pain due to incorrectly performing some physical maneuver, so it might be a while before I truly get to try this thing out for my personal purposes. My husband, who has much broader shoulders than my dainty ones, find that this fits him well when he tightens it up, and I can see an obvious improvement in his upper back alignment when he’s wearing it. He is also not currently experiencing any back pain, but he’s going to try to wear this daily to see if he notices any long-term improvements in his posture (which is much worse than mine). So far, we haven’t observed any noticeable results in his posture when he has this removed, but we initially expected this to be more of a long-term therapy.Anyway, it’s pretty easy to get this brace on and off when it’s not tightened up, and while it’s easy enough to tighten up by myself, I do like a little help getting the Velcro fastened and unfastened behind my shoulders. Since my husband doesn’t have to latch the Velcro so far up when he wear this, he can easily do it by himself. This brace is thick and cushiony, feeling comfortable against the skin, and it looks well-made with quality materials. My husband did mention that it’s not something he’d consider wearing to work, since he’s very physically active at work, getting very sweaty, and this brace goes right up into the armpits, so it’s not ideal for such sweaty situations.
