After several thousand jumps the swivels in the handles are still smooth. The length adjustment is easy for maybe 8 inches. The handles feel alright in my hand – I thought they might be a little slippery at first but I haven’t had an issue during use. The overall quality feels good to me. If a friend was interested in getting a weighted jump rope I’d recommend it to them if not just buy it for them – it’s a pretty cheap way to get hours of exercise.General note: try doing a hundred or two jumps when you wake up. I’m not a big morning person, but I spend a minute or two (actually 1-2 minutes) on my patio before breakfast now and it really gets me engaged with the day.

This is a a very well made set of training jump rope with premium construction. The handles are nicely weighted, about 0.85lbs each with a rope that is much heavier than kids recreational jump ropes. 2 ropes are included, the default one with the fabric braiding and a wear resistant weighted band, or a PVC one. The fabric one is heavier and more durable, with more potential for strength training. The PVC one is lighter and more aerodynamic, allowing seriously fast swings, though you should only use it on smooth surfaces as it may wear over time on rough areas.The handles have a very good feel to them and have a smooth rotating bearing, allowing very smooth and fast swings, with no possibility of rope twists. The handles themselves are somewhat weighted, at around 400g, offering additional resistance for endurance or strength training.Overall, this is an excellent training rope, also includes a carry bag.

This skipping rope is fantastic. I skipped with it, and it’s just like a regular skipping rope, only with the added benefit of extra weight. The additional weight was hardly noticeable, as the weighted rope felt natural.I’m a martial artist, so this rope will give me extra oomph with explosive power. That’s what I want the most from this rope is the explosive jumping ability. It will also help with my sprinting. That’s because I’ve noticed that just dumbbell weights and stationary cycling have left me without explosive springing power, so this rope, burpees, and sprinting will reignite my explosiveness.I’m in post-menopause, so this rope is critical to ensuring that I can generate power in my movements well into my 70s, 80s, and, ideally, 90s. Otherwise, we rapidly lose it. So, get this rope! You won’t regret it!When I skip outdoors, I wrap this rope around my wrists. However, the rope comes with instructions on how to nicely trim it.The rope also comes with a black rubber item, which I think may be another rope. It feels like a hard rubber, and I’m excited to see if I can skip with that, too.I plan to use the rope for skipping outdoors, on cement, or at the gym.

I can’t overstate how great the quality of this rope is. I just wanted something to burn off a few calories in my workout and I almost feel like this is more rope than I deserve! The handles in particular are exquisite – beautiful feeling, very well weighted, and with great bearings. I can’t image what else anyone who skips would ask for. Highly recommended.
