SAVED MY HANDS! Thank you!
THANK YOU!! I got in a wreck on my electric skateboard & these things saved my hands!

Great fit, and comfortable impact absorption
These just fit my large hands. They are very comfortable and protect well. These are much better than the wrist guards with the metal splint that jabs into the palm of your hand. Well cushioned, lightweight, and allow your hands to breathe. Very little interference with holding your skateboard, or grabbing the coping. If you’re going to take a spill, these are a total hand saver.

Quality seems fine. The fit is strange.
I bought these so I could wear my watch when I hopped on my one wheel. It that aspect it works fine. The fit is overall nice but the straps are wierd. The top strap is extra long, which is fine, nit the wrist strap is super short. Only about 1/4 ” of velco actually engages. I got a large, based on palm size. My arm, where the strap goes, is around 7.5″. If your arm is wider than that I’d look elsewhere.I can’t speak to how well the protect but the plastic seems solid and not brittle and the gloves are comfy with a little padding in the palms.

Use for Carpal Tunnel
Ok – hear me out…I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel and told to wear wrist braces at work and while sleeping. If you have ever worn a medical wrist brace you know that you can’t do anything in it! So I went on the hunt for a better option. Enter these ‘wrist guards’ . They are PERFECT! they leave my fingers fully available to type at work and use my kindle in bed. They offer enough support that wrist movement is minimal, and they are far more comfortable than medical guards. So, if you know someone with carpal tunnel..let ’em know!

So flexible and comfortable
For someone that is not sporty at all, I was very impressed with these wrist braces. They were so comfortable when i tried them on and the inner lining was spongy. They were flexible and allowed enough comfortable movement for functional use. I tested it out by landing on the floor and I didnt feel a thing. Excited to try them out for snowboarding. The only thing I would note is the thumb hole is a little small, but otherwise true to size (i got the smallest for my tiny hands)Update: I used them on the slopes and my wrists don’t hurt AT ALL. I’m so glad I used them because the snow was icy and it was hard to fall on. The only downside is the stitching did start to rub raw after so long and I would definitely recommend sizing up in gloves if you want the braces on underneath. My gloves were glued to my hands once they were on. Overall a great investment though!

Really wanted better wrist/palm protection but…
I took a hard fall on my electric skateboard on a Memorial Day group ride and one of the lessons I learned was that my existing wristguards were woefully inadequate. (See the picture of the bruise on my palm.) I saw these and thought they might do a better job of protecting my palms the next time I go down.Well I tried them on and could tell there was a lot more coverage so that was good. As far as I could tell, they seemed comfortable. Unfortunately, I’m returning them. You see, despite ordering the largest size, I could not get the strap around my wrist. My daughter was able to get it tight enough that the velcro could catch but, as you can see in the photo, it was so tight that it was seriously cutting into my skin and it felt like it was cutting off my circulation. Even so, I’m not convinced at all that it simply wouldn’t pop loose in a crash, rendering them useless.I really wanted to like these and, other than the strap issue, I did like them. They’re just no good for me.Now, if you have very thin wrists, they might work for you. If you’re a big guy like me, you’ll probably want to look elsewhere.

Works for Snowboarding – Put them inside my gloves
Most wrist guards on the market are not comfortable from my experience, and the ones that are comfortable typically don’t provide the support needed to actually protect your wrists. In the past, I’ve had wrist-guards that are built into my snowboard gloves, but their firmness made tightening bindings a nightmare. It got to the point where I stopped wearing wrist guards altogether.I chose these wrist-guards because they seemed to be low-profile enough to fit inside my snowboard gloves, while retaining the needed durability to actually help with wrist support. They weren’t the most comfortable things to have on my hands, admittedly, but they have been the most comfortable option I’ve found thus far. They were used a few times, and I was happy with the way they spread the force across the wrist.Small investment and a little bit of discomfort for the added assurance of knowing I’ll be able to use my wrist when I have to go back to work after my trip.

I got back into rollerblading after a break that started in the 90’s. I don’t heal as fast as I used to, so these are a must.
